Prologue

During middle school, Shoto todoroki and Igarashi Shimizu went to their separate schools. Shoto, going to a private academy while Shimizu chose a public school. Though they go to separate schools, they still see each other in training.

"Shoto-kun.. do you think I'll be able to pass the recommendations exam?" Asked a girl with black hair.
The boy with half red half white hair glanced at the girl he's been admiring since childhood and answered shortly.

"Yes." The girl looked up at him with doe eyes. "Really?" She asked. The boy merely nodded with a small smile.

"You two!" A loud voice shouted, causing the girl to flinch. The boy noticed this and rubbed circles on her knuckles. "It's best for you two if you get back to training." A man surrounded with fire said with authority filling his voice.

"Yes, Father." Answered the young boy.
The girl blinked and flinched as the man turned to look at her. He nodded at her, telling her to continue.

The girl turned to the young todoroki, telling him quietly, "we really should be heading back to training Sho-kun..." The said boy looked at her with sympathy, nodding at her words.

The timid girl was walking down the street, on her way to training, when she sensed a villain around. She flinched, thinking that maybe she should call the authorities.

She foolishly walked to the commotion, peeking behind a wall to see a  familiar blond student being sucked into the slime-like villain and an unkept green haired boy trying to claw the other to safety.

Her eyes widened, conflicted if she would have helped her former friends or not. She turned to see heros handling the situation.

She turned to leave, only to hear explosions. She turned her head back, and decided to help.

She breathed in some air. And walked out the wall. "I'm sure someone will come Soon!" Said Kamaui woods as he rescued civilians from the explosions.

She raised her arm as the ground shook, catching the heroes' and villains'  attention. They then saw a crack forming on the ground, following to where it led to, they saw a girl with long black hair and a pair of blue eyes.

"What are you doing here, girl?! It's dangerous!" A hero warned. The girl gulped, using her quirk to manipulate the hot air around them, making it hot enough to boil a person alive.

She decided to suddenly freeze the temperature, causing a sudden explosion from the sudden change of temperature. The heroes covered themselves and the civilians as the explosion took place.

They uncovered their eyes to see the slime being thrown away due to its liquid-like weight.

She wiped her chin, feeling crimson liquid drip down from her mouth as she stood there, awkwardly still. 

Everyone's eyes turned to her. At that moment, she decided to turn into air, controlling the atoms in her body as she fled the scene with a blush tainting her cheeks.

After that, the heroes retrieved the scattered slime, and they were safely taken in by the police.
Cameras flashed on the heroes, asking them who the girl was.

"Good grief, you're too reckless! There was no need to put yourself in danger at all." Scolded a hero to the green haired boy. While the blond haired boy was praised.

"You are so tough and what a quirk! Please come to our company when you become a pro hero. You'll be a great sidekick, I guarantee it!" A hero rambled on.

"Shi-chan..." Thought the blond haired teenager.

"Where is that girl?" Asked the older Igarashi. "She's late for training." Stated the older Todoroki. "Perhaps she was stuck in traffic." Reasoned the youngest todoroki.

The older Igarashi sighed disappointingly. "I should've applied her to a private academy instead of a public." He said, regretting his decision.

The air around them shifted as the youngest igarashi appeared in front of them, bowing her head as the air took shape of her body once again.

"Ah! I must apologize for being late! I was met with an inconvenience on the way here!" She said.  "Hn. Just start training now." Commanded her father.

"Of course, father." She answered as the half-half boy looked at her with pity.

"You have blood on your lips. Did you fight someone on the way here?" Asked the youngest todoroki as soon as the two older men left the room.

"Ah! That's not a big deal, sho-kun!" She exclaimed, flailing her arms around. "I just tripped on the way here is all." She explained as she scratched her cheek with a blush.

"Let's get to training!" She said.

"Ne, sho-kun.. you're going to the recommendations exams tomorrow, right?" Asked the young woman.

"Yes." Answered the half n' half boy while nodding his head.

"Then, can we go together? I don't want to go knowing that I have to talk to others on my own." She explained, slightly shaking.

The boy in front of her smiled slightly at his partner's antics. "Okay." He answered as they continued eating.
