Jin Chen had successfully created a secret identity as a mild-mannered reporter named David Peng. He used his new persona to blend in with the crowds and gather information about potential threats to the city. But he soon discovered that being a superhero wasn't as simple as he thought.

One day, David was investigating a suspicious warehouse on the outskirts of the city. He had heard rumors that it was being used as a hideout for a notorious gang, and he wanted to get to the bottom of it.

As he approached the warehouse, he saw a group of armed men standing guard outside. He knew that he couldn't take them on alone, so he retreated to a nearby alley to come up with a plan.

But before he could make a move, he heard a voice behind him.

"Nice costume," the voice said sarcastically.

Jin turned to see a young woman, who looked the same age as David's sister, standing there with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face. She was dressed in a green catsuit, and she had a strange symbol on her chest that David didn't recognize.

"Who are you?" David asked, his hand instinctively reaching for his notepad.

The woman laughed. "I'm the Jade Tiger," she said. "And I'm here to help you take down those thugs."

David was hesitant. He had never worked with another superhero before, and he wasn't sure if he could trust her. But he knew that he needed all the help he could get.

Together, David and the Jade Tiger crept up to the warehouse, using their combined skills to take out the guards. They made their way inside, and what they found was shocking.

The warehouse was filled with high-tech equipment, and there were files and documents scattered everywhere. David and the Jade Tiger quickly realized that they had stumbled upon a major criminal operation.

But before they could investigate further, they heard footsteps approaching. They hid behind a stack of crates, watching as a group of men entered the room.

David recognized one of them as the city's most notorious crime boss, a man known as Ghost. He had heard rumors about Ghost for a few months now, but he had never been able to gather enough evidence to bring him to justice.

As they listened, David and the Jade Tiger realized that Ghost was planning something big. Something that could put the entire city in danger.

David knew that he had to act fast. He pulled out his notepad and began to take notes, gathering as much information as he could. But as he wrote, he felt a sudden pain in his head. He stumbled backwards, his vision blurring.

The last thing he saw before he blacked out was the Jade Tiger standing over him, a look of concern on her face.

When David woke up, he was lying on a cot in a dimly lit room. He sat up, rubbing his head. He had a splitting headache, and he couldn't remember what had happened after he passed out.

As he looked around, he realized that he was in a secret hideout. He saw the Jade Tiger sitting in a chair nearby.

"What happened?" David asked, his voice hoarse.

The Jade Tiger explained that they had been ambushed by Ghost's men, and that David had been hit over the head. She had managed to get him to safety, but they had been forced to retreat.

David felt a stab of guilt. He had let his guard down, and now he had lost his one opportunity to figure out Ghost's plan and prevent it from fruition.

"My notebook? Where is my notebook?!?" David asked, frantically searching his pockets.

"You dropped it when you were knocked unconscious. I couldn't grab it otherwise we would have been shot and captured." she replied.

David fell to his knees from the feeling of disappointment knowing everything he needed to bring Ghost and his men to justice was thrown down the drain.

After recuperating for a while both David and the Jade Tiger parted ways but before he left he asked her a question.

"So when can I see you again and how will I find you if I need you?" David asked with a warm smile.

"Don't worry little kitten. I'll find you when I need to." she chuckled while answering his question.

David blushed a bit before finally turning away to leave for his apartment.

But one detail from this entire ordeal kept him bothered like a fly buzzing around someone's meal.

"What is Ghost planning to do with those weapons and what is his plan. If I dont figure it out soon I fear for the future of New Shangri-La." David thought to himself.
