Chapter 7

Y/n POV

Today my group had a day off from promotions so I decided to take a stroll around a park. I had my mask on so that none of my fans know who I am. As I was strolling around I decided to get something to eat at a café. I went inside and ordered my food before sitting down at an empty table. While I wait for my food to come I just scrolled through Instagram and twitter. After five minutes my order came and just as I was about to eat someone stood in front of my table so I looked up and I see a very beautiful girl. "Can I sit here? All the other tables are full." The spoke in Japanese. "Of course. I don't mind." I told her.

She looked at me shocked probably didn't know I could speak Japanese. I took off my mask so I could eat and that's when the girl gasp. "You're Y/n from BTS." The girl whispered to me. "Yes I am. What's your name?" I asked her. "Mina Myoui. I just started training at JYP." Mina told me. "That's cool. What did you do to get in?" I asked her. "I just did ballet and I got in." Mina told me shyly. "That's nice. I've never tried doing ballet because I thought it looks hard." I told her. "I can teach you if you want." Mina said.

I see how she looked at me shyly making me smile at her cuteness. "I would love that." I told her making her smile at me. She grabbed a paper and pen out of her bag and wrote down something and gave it to me. I see that she wrote her number down for me. "Whenever you want to learn you can call me." She told me. "Thank you, Mina. I have to leave because of my busy schedule for the next few weeks. I text you when I'm free." I told her. "Of course, you're an idol and a very busy person, I'm not gonna stop you." Mina said. We bid each bye as I added her number on my phone and put her as 'My Balled Princess 💃🩰👸' and walked back to the dorm.

3rd POV

During the time Y/n and Mina started to talk to each other Selena watches how Y/n has love in her eyes as she seen Mina for the first time making her smile. "Just like me and Chris when we first met. Love at first sight." Selena said as she happily watch her daughter laugh with Mina as she talks to her.

The next day

Y/n POV

I met up with my bandmates as we recorded "Boy in Luv" choreography and have it posted on our YouTube channel. Me and Mina been texting each other since yesterday getting to know each other.

After we were done we all sat down to catch our breathe from the hardcore dance we did as we all watch the video before posting it. After around two hours of practicing we were done for the day so I left and went to the café to meet up with Mina as we gotten closer since yesterday. I really like her but JYP has this policy of a dating ban for his trainees and idols.

The trainees can't be in a relationship so they won't have any distractions while the idols will have a dating ban for three years and then after that they are free to date whoever they want. Luckily BigHit doesn't have a dating ban because we are a small company and no one will take us seriously. We sat down and talked about how our day was and I listen to her talk. "My friend Sana accidentally fell during training and it was hilarious and Momo just looked like she gave up on Sana." Mina explained to me as I silently laughed. "I would love to meet your friends when you're off of training." I said.

"Maybe one day, right now their only focus is us training to be in a group together." Mina said. I get that they want to focus on training and I'm cool with that, I was in their shoes once. And now I'm with seven guys that I think of as my brothers. Me and Mina spend almost two hours talking and then walking around when she has to get back to the dorms. I went back home where I see the boys doing their own things. Jin is in the kitchen like he normally does, Namjoon and Yoongi are at the studio working on a few beats, Hoseok is watching tv with Jimin while Taehyung and Jungkook are playing video games in Tae's room.

I went to my room and went on my laptop and watch Netflix. I was watching Selena the movie about her life. When she met Chris and how they got married and had a beautiful baby girl. They didn't say the name of the baby but for some strange reason it felt like I've been in this situation. I know I was adopted that much is obvious but wondering who my actual parents are is kinda frustrating.

I wonder if they were happy when they had me and didn't care if I was born different or not. I kept watching it until the end where Yolanda killed Selena and her family was in the hospital crying as Chris held his daughter while crying. His daughter didn't know what's going on at the moment and just looked around her family crying over Selena. Wait, this seems familiar to the story about me.

My biological mother got shot and killed by someone she was closest to and then my biological father and family decided for me to live with the L/n's for my safety. Does that mean my parents are Chris Perez and Selena Quintanilla? That explains so much of how I am able to see Selena Aka mom watching me perform on stage with a proud smile on her face.

I smiled lightly as I went to my desk where I kept my dad's letter to me before he sent me away. I looked at his name on the letter and it immediately clicked into place, my dad is Chris Perez and my mom is Selena Quintanilla-Perez. "I'm not mad at you for sending me away. I'm glad you did if you hadn't than I wouldn't be where I am today." I whispered to myself before looking up and see Selena/mom near my desk. "Thank you for watching over me, mama." I said to her.

She smiled before disappearing probably watching the rest of our family. I felt a huge weight off my chest finally knowing my parentage and where I came from. That explains a lot on why I love music so much and how I'm obsessed with Selena's music. I'm proud to say I am Selena and Chris Perez daughter and I'm following in my mom's footsteps.
