CHAPTER 2- the comeback

A few years later the underground palace had become rundown and taken over by box trolls. The only thing they were not aware of was the raccoon's. The box trolls were having fun. Then all of a sudden here came a heard of raccoon's, damaging everything in their path. The box troll leader looked at the mess and was astonished at the sight. All of their decorations and rewards were ruined. It made the leader fish eggs furious.

The next day fish eggs and olive pine made a plan to go capture all of the raccoon's. They sent invitations out to all of the box trolls and even the half box trolls that were part lizard. Every single box troll and half box troll were told to meet at the location on the invitation at exactly noon tomorrow.

The following day everyone gathered around the wishing well. Fish eggs said that all those willing to except a challenge and adventure go meet him here at the wishing well tomorrow night at five o clock. The rest will meet olive pine at the track. As soon as the meeting was over everyone departed and went back to the house that they all lived in.

The following night more than half of the population showed up at the wishing well and the rest of them showed up at the track. It was a beautiful night sky view. The group of box trolls that were with fish eggs were told that they would have to go over to the raccoon's camp and figure out why the raccoon's would be escaping their own territory and destroying the box trolls underground palace that the box trolls had over taken. The other group that were with olive pine would go to the underground cave that had been made by humans that the box trolls now had. Inside the cave was cameras and all different kinds of recording devices. Most of it came from the equipment that the box trolls found when they would go on quests. The half box trolls, half humans would take the parts and fix up the equipment. So on this particular day, the half box trolls were busy setting up the equipment. Once it was all set up, the group that was with fish eggs were ready to head out on their mission. just as they were about to embark on their mission, a gaggle of geese and a heard of sheep came flying past out of no where. This sudden change in events, took the group that was with olive pine by surprise so much, that the box trolls and half box trolls hid in their boxes. This was a common thing for the box trolls and half box trolls to do when they sensed danger.

While all of this was happening there was a major break through in the human world. There were kids discovering that there is other life out in their world.

One day a piece of paper was flying along the ground and hit a girl in the face. She looked to be about 10 and curious about everything. When she was at home she was always asking her cousin how something worked and why it worked. Because she was so curious, she was a very talented and gifted kid in school. She was so smart that she was already in high school and taking calculus and a lot of difficult classes.

So when this piece of paper flew and hit her face, she looked at it. It was an invitation to a thanksgiving and halloween party. On the back there was a map that showed how to get there. She followed the map and it led her to a door that said beware of the jacks.

Seeing that, she prepared herself for the scariest thing she could imagine. when she started to turn the door handle, it started to turn on its own. She jumped back in surprise and was ready to run when a creature came out and said hi. The creature who was half box troll said that his name was Apple. The girl said her name was Pie. The half box troll asked her if she wanted to come in and meet the others. Pie said yes that would be fun. She also asked Apple about the thanksgiving and halloween party. he said that the reason they had two holidays is because the half box trolls celebrate halloween and the box trolls celebrate thanksgiving.

As soon as Apple and Pie walked in, they were greeted by all of the half box trolls and leaders. Half of the spools of thread that were used as tables were black and orange and on the other side of the warehouse room were tables that were orange, green,red and yellow. Placed in the middle of the Halloween tables were fifteen bags of Halloween candy and a Halloween cake with sprinkles. On the thanksgiving tables, there were turkeys and cake that had pictures of leaves on it. Pie was so surprised of all the food that she couldn't wait to eat at a halloween table.

She had always wanted to eat cake. For her, birthdays were always times when she would have to listen top a lecture because she was a talented and gifted student. She didn't enjoy always having to take tests and do schoolwork. The reason she ended up outside and in this place was because she finally had it with her parents and was tired of always being the kid that had to have the best grades and hear all the lectures. She wanted to be normal for once and not have to be the smartest kid in the world. She wished that one day her parents would understand, but so far that was not happening.

As she was pondering things, a box troll named cake walked over to her and asked her if she would join her. Pie told her that she would for a little and then also go over to the halloween side and talk with her other friend Apple. Cake was so excited she almost started to make a cupcake.

After the party was over, everyone started to get ready for bed.
