He's back

Science class

BRIANNAH:

Im walking to my locker passing by other students when i feel someone smack my butt "what the fuck amy, stop hitting me so hard!" I say turning around to see my best friend since the third grade standing behind me trying not to laugh "Im sorry, i couldn't help it"she says bursting out laughing. I turn back around and continue to walk to my lock with amy following me, when we arrive at my locker which is next to hers she turns to me "sooo there's a party on friday.." I roll my eyes and look at her with a knowing look "and we should totally go" "Amy you know I don't go to party's" I state grabbing my textbooks "please! you never go out, just come to this one party and I wont ask you again, I promise!" she says pouting and grabbing my shoulders.

I sigh before saying "fine! but this will be the first and last time" a smile appears on her face and she hugs me while squealing "THANK YOU ! we are  gonna have so much fun!" she exclaims "whatever, whos party is this even gonna be?" she takes a step back before opening her lock and tucking a peice of hair behind her ear "Its this boy named jose from my math class and he personally invited me and said to bring a friend"

"personally invited?" I question looking at her with a little smirk "okay we may be talking but its nowhere near what your thinking so stop" she says rolling her eyes and playfully hitting my shoulder "mhk sure, ill see you at lunch okay?" I say closing my locker and locking it "alright!" she responds and I turn around walking down the hall, I go up the stairs to the second floor and into another hall, before entering my class, Science.

I take a seat at my desk towards the back when the teacher and the rest of the students walk into the class room. "before we get started today, I would like to introduce our newest student who just transferred from mexico" the class start whispering and adjusting themselves in there seat,   I hear a few girls a few rows down talking, there are three latina girls in their little group "I bet he's finna be fine as fuck" "we should invite him to Jose's party!" " chica how's my hair? I wanna make sure I look good" 

I lightly laugh at their conversation, the teacher sets up for the lesson, when the class room door opens and a boy walks in with his head down. I immediately notice his fluffy curly hair, the teacher turns around and walks up to the new boy "Everyone, this is Diego, please treat him respectfully and help him ge used to our school" "Diego would you like to say a few things a bout yourself? maybe you'll show common interest with other students" 

The boy finally looks up and OH MY GOD he's really attractive but his name sounds really familiar I just cant remember who he is at the moment. I notice all the girls gawking at him. A semi deep voice  with a very slight spanish accent speaks "um I like to play football, I mean soccer and I have a cat" The teacher speaks up "Well thank you diego and welcome, there's a seat in the back next to briannah" 

I look around, because there is no way he's talking about me! "Briannah anderson can you please wave your hand so he knows where to sit" Once I accept that he's talking about me I shyly wave my hand before putting my hand down and putting my face in my hands blushing from the sudden attention. I notice the girls  from earlier staring at him giggling among selves and glaring at me. I raise my head to see Diego taking his seat next to mine, briefly glancing at me. 

"so we are going to experiment with chemical bonds-" the teacher starts talking and I pull out my notebook and science book out  getting ready to take notes because this class is not that easy. "Excuse me what am I supposed to do?" a voice next to me says. I turn to Diego slightly shocked he's talking to me "You just need your note book to take notes about his lesson and your science book incase he calls on you to answer a question" he slightly smiles before reaching into his black bookbag and pulling his books out then turning back to me "Thank you, do you think you could show me around to my other classes?" he says scratching the back of his neck with a nervous smile "Of course, you can join me at lunch too if you want" I state not wanting to sound weird or anything "Yeah, I would like that" he smiles before turning back to the teacher.

Once class is over I help Diego find his gym class before heading to language arts. The bell rings in math and I collect my stuff and head out of the class room and walk down the crowded hall to meet Diego at his Elective class. After waiting about a minute he walks out the class immediately noticing me "um just follow me" I state

We arrive at the cafeteria and get in line to get our food which is luckily not to long, I get a bacon cheese burger and a side of fries and a water and Diego gets the same thing and a coke. I find a empty table and lead us there knowing Amy will spot me and eventually come over and join us. I sit down and surprisingly he sits down right next to me. He tosses a fry in him mouth turning to me "did you go to madison elementary school?"  Wait what!? there is no way this is the same diego from elementary school! he looks so different! "wait there is no way your the same diego!" I say staring at his face, noticing his pink full lips his dark brown eyes and glass skin. "I am and I remember you" he says and I notice his braces which suits him very well "wow what bring you back?" I say taking a bite of my burger "well after 5th grade my parents moved to mexico to be with my abuela, she passed away a few months ago so they decided to move back here to get away" I nod understandingly feeling kind of bad for him "im sorry for yo-" im cut off by Amy "HEY, who is this?" she sits down on the other side of me "This is Diego, don't you remember him?" she glances at him "wait, no way, you look so different!" Diego softy laughs "do I really look that different? I remember you " 

"you do" me and Amy say in unison laughing immediately after, he shakes his head smiling, showing his top row of teeth with braces, Damn he hot especially with his cute smile and hair. Me and Amy talk the rest of lunch, every once in a while including Diego. We collect or trays and dump them and head our separate ways to our classes, me and Amy's in the same direction. Once Diego is out of hearing range she bumps me "oooooo do you like him?" She jokes "STOP!!!" I say laughing rolling my eyes. "Maybe he'll be a Jose's party this week, you should ask him!" I shake my head " well see"
