I decided to do a high school kind of hallway encounter. I hope you're okay with that! This probably isn't the best thing I've ever written because I wrote it at like five in the morning on a Sunday, but hopefully you still like it. If not, you can always request a redo. I hope you'll enjoy! <3
You walk down the hall, feeling like the walking dead as you carry your books. You're super tired, simply because this work is very difficult, and you don't really want to do this. Suddenly, though, you stumble back, dropping all your books on the floor. You look up to realise that you have just run into someone.
And not just anyone.
A taller, very handsome, strong guy, that you recognise from being on the football team of your school. You honestly don't know what position he plays or even what his name is- you just know he's known as one of the hottest, most popular guys in the school.
And you're known as one of the shyest, most quiet, and most awkward girls in the school.
And just this situation seems to be proving it.
"S- S- Sorry-!" you mutter, looking away from his very dark brown eyes- almost black. They are big, and they seem to stare right into you.
He chuckles. "It's okay. I wasn't looking either." You're surprised to see him bend down, starting to pick up your dropped folders and books.
You very quickly bend down next to him. "No, no, no, it's okay... I can pick up my stuff. I can pick it up- you don't have to!"
"Hey, it's alright," he grins right at you, showing off his white teeth. He hands you the neat pile of stuff. "It's fine. Here's your stuff. I don't mind."
You stare in surprise. "O- Oh. Uh... Gracias..."
"Of course," he nods, straightening back to a standing position, and you follow him, standing up as well. "Anyway, I think we have both got to get to class, no?"
"Oh, right, of course. Thank you so much." you nod quickly, looking him up and down. His perfect dark curly hair. His earring. His grey hoodie. He's handsome. Hot. Really cute.
You turn on your heel, then, to get to class, but falter when you hear him call, "By the way, beautiful, you're welcome!" You feel your whole body stiffen as you stop. You glance behind him, but all you see is him waving behind him as he walks away in the opposite direction, down the hallway.
As you walk to class, still blushing, you decide that you need to go to the next home football game.

You find yourself sitting in the stands amongst a bunch of teenagers who you know but don't know, watching a football pitch, because of one boy.
You only realise until now how stupid this really is.
Well, you, being the not football supporter that you are, don't figure out he's a defender until you're about twenty minutes into the match. You can't help but laugh at yourself for this.
The match ends up in the end being a 2-1 win for your school, and as you walk off the stands, you realise how you just wastes nearly two hours for seemingly nothing.
But then, as you're walking down the school hallway, when you walk past the locker rooms, just then, he walks out.
And he grins when he sees you.
"Oh, hey, it's you. I remember you," he says with a wink. "You watched our football match?"
"Oh, yeah, I did..." you smile, glancing away, butterflies rising up within you.
He takes a step closer to you, saying, "I'm sorry, but I don't think I even caught your name...?"
"Oh, yeah... uh... My name is Y/n. W- What's yours...?"
He grins. "Alejandro. Alejandro Balde. My friends just call me Ale, though. You're free to call me that."
You smile at this friendly gesture, not knowing what to say, feeling awkward.
So he points out, "You seem a little shy, huh?"
"Yeah..." you clear your throat. "I- I guess so."
He grins again. "Oh, alright, then, that's okay. Shy girls are cute. You single?"
You blush, shaking your head yes.
"That's surprising, for a girl with your looks. Well, alright. If, say, a certain someone were to ask you out, would you say yes? Try to break out of your shell?"
You shrug, feeling stiff and... perhaps excited. "Y- Yeah, I think so. Only if it were... uh... maybe somebody like you."
"Eh, that's more like it!" he grins with a wink. "Well, you busy next Friday after school?"
You shift, glancing away, smiling. "Nah, I'm not. What are you thinking?"
"Eh, I don't know. How would you feel about maybe just going out to eat? Keep it nice and basic, to get to know each other more?"
"Sure, that sounds good..."
"Alright, well I'll give you my number, and you can send me your address and tell me what time I should pick you up. Sound good?"
"T- That sounds wonderful; gracias."

You enter Ale's very nice looking white car, slipping into the passenger's seat. You say awkwardly, "This is a really nice car."
"Thanks," he just responds, and starts driving. "You look nicer than the car though."
This makes you blush, grin, and roll you eyes, all at the same time. By the look on his face, though, you're pretty sure that was probably the reaction he was trying to get out of you.
The food at the restaurant is really good, and as you eat, you ask softly, "So, uh, why'd you show so much interest in me...?"
He shrugs with a grin. "You seem like a very lonely, very sweet, and very beautiful girl. You looked like you deserved a little more. I figured we could try something out."
"Things like this usually don't work out and last very long, you know," you say, looking on the bad side, like you always seem to catch yourself doing.
"Aw, come on," he grins. "We should still try it out, no?"
"I don't want my heart to break."
"Good thing I'm not a heart-breaker."
"Why aren't you with your last girlfriend, then?"
"She moved and said she didn't want to do long distance; that she thought she would move on."
"Oh... I'm sorry."
"It's fine. You asked."
"Well, Alejandro, I... guess we can try it out."
And thank God that you said that that evening. Otherwise, you wouldn't be where you are with him today.
