TAPPING HER fingers against her desk, her eyes zoned out on the big clock that hung on the wall just above the blackboard. The blonde was beyond bored sitting in her last lit class of the year, chewing her gum as she sat back in her chair she let out a sigh.

"when is this day gonna end" she thought as the teacher seemed to be talking in slow motion, every minute felt like a millennium and Mika didn't know how much longer she could sit in this classroom without falling asleep. Hearing the loud chatter of a group of boys behind her kept her eyes open but even then she was just about to drop out cold on her desk, reaching into her hoodie pockets she pulled out her tangled earbuds.

As she untangled them she could hear the teacher continue to blab on and on about nothing important, it was the last day before summer anyways so it didn't matter if they were being taught anything or not. Plugging the white wires into her phone adapter and slipping the plastic buds into ears, the blonde scrolled down into her 10 hour long playlist clicking on the song she had been putting on repeat the past couple days- Summertime Sadness by Lana Del Rey. Placing her phone screen down onto her table, Mika pulled her hoodie sleeves down past her hands giving her sweater paws and crossed her arms on her desk making a sort of pillow for her to rest her head on.

Feeling someone shake her awake, Mika sat up with a groan. Looking up at a brunette boy who stood with three other guys, the blonde sighed and raked her hands through her long hair. "class just ended and everyone is leaving" he said as his friends walked out of the door, Mika just nodded and gave a small hum. The boy then left most likely catching up with his friends but the girl couldn't really care less, standing up and pulling her earbuds out of her ears the blonde grabbed her bag and slipped it over her shoulder walking out of the school she wouldn't have to see until next year.

Walking down the sidewalk, Mika was texting her mom about her summer trip. Her mother always left for the summer and Mika was stuck in the house all summer mostly going to parties every night and doing nothing but sit at home, this year however her mother suggested she go and have a vacation since she was basically a senior at this point and should enjoy her last summer as a highschool student.

Walking into her house and greeting her mom, Mika rushed up the stairs to her room and looked around for a place to stay over the summer. After about an hour of searching she found a small one bedroom one bathroom house that was right on the beach up to be rented out for the summer, smiling to herself she clicked the rent button and mentally high-fived herself.

This summer would 100% be something she would never forget that's for sure....
