Sahara's pov
It takes me several hours of tinkering to learn how to line a Dimension with a portal, but it opens successfully and i step through.
As i step through i realize how drowsy i am outside the Void. Exhaustion would have to wait till i could i get a moment to get my berings.
Looking around, I see and hear every bit of life nearby. Maybe i got a bit of a awareness just being in the Void?
Whatever the case, i shake it off.
Around me i can see a thriving city, of chinese building style. The main colors holding up with red and soft yellows. Swirling flames rising in Oil-flooded brick paths, allowing brilliant orange flames to rise around the palace. It was truly a beautiful sight to behold.
Or maybe an intimidating one? The people around seem to be holding abilities tied to fire and flames.
I decide to use my slime based body to get rid of my wings, and my clothes change to fit the style of the people of the palace and i quickly find my way to meeting the Fire Lord.
Now, quite funnily, he had me sussed out as,"Not a Normal Bender" almost immediatly, the kind lord invited me to tea and i showed him my real self. Quite a kind man honestly. He even was kind enough to gift me a painting of him on his Corination day! How exciting. He then took me to meet a bundle of friends of his, and a large project he and some he called," The Avatar" were working on.
The first one i met was a quite blunt, blind girl who i felt leave vibrations in the earth beneath me as she walked. She said that i felt like living water, and made almost no vibrations for her to feel.
She challenged me to a duel shortly after and, let's just say, i was a puddle on the floor, and she was still standing.
It seems my combat skills will need extensive work. I laughed it off once i reformed, only to feel the air swirl as a massive flying bison flew through the air, carrying a young adult who was bald.
That young man turned out to be the Avatar the Firelord spoke extensivly about. The young Avatar himself introduced himself as Aang, and then spotted my wings and asked if i was some sort of crazy spirit!
Of course i burst into laughter as i explained that no, i was no spirit.
He then wanted to see how good i could fly compared to him. I agreed and the Firelord oversaw the race.
Suprisingly, it was a beautiful tie, although my wings nearly melted cause the Firelord didn't happen to warn me that the finish line was a pillar of flames.
It all turned out ok, as the Avatar was very swift and used the winds to keep me in the air till i could land and reform myself. I'll have to be more careful in the future though.
Before, tempature never really mattered. I guess after getting trapped in the Void for a bit the abilites gained some hefty drawbacks.
Noted for another time. I made a sketch of the mans glider and I made a portal, now interestingly assured that my journey through the worlds had only just begun. Stepping through, i head to a new world.((((
This will be a very slow written series. But i want you guys to suggest, Non Horror worlds to me to have them written in here, anything over PG 13 i will not write about-Sirabooks
