When I began this project, there was a single purpose: entertaining myself. The need to follow games closely through the lens of certain players heightened my fan enjoyment. Doing it in a public forum was important, but not necessary.
As I've lost that sense of fulfillment leading to pleasure, it's time to shut it down. If an audience existed (and was large enough) to justify continuing, I may have done so. Why? Because I often feel good when I cause others to feel good.
After falling to the depths of their division, the Yankees have fought back to within striking distance of the top. Anthony Volpe has helped, with some clutch at-bats, great running and adequate defense. Let's watch and see how he grows.
