Shaking legs in nervousness, face brightening with a smile, eyes gleaming with the excitement to see your groom waiting in the wedding aisle for you, a gorgeous wedding gown endearing your body & a bouquet of fresh pretty flowers in your hand, these all are the essentials for a bride usually.

But not for you.

Actually it was quite of an opposite, no, exactly opposite of the situation.

Body numb, face expressionless, smile seemed like it was never a part of your body. Hair done into an ordinary bun behind, gown which was quite an expensive one but it didn't matter, it wasn't of your choice anyway. The flowers were kept on the dressing table infront of which you're sitting waiting for someone probably your father or mother or whoever, to come & walk you to the aisle, to your groom.

Your groom.
Your would-be-husband.
That's it.
You don't know anything about him except than his surname which your parents would keep repeating in this last week before your wedding. Mr. Jeon's son is that, Mr. Jeon's son is this. It was like you were just marrying Mr. Jeon's son, not a person in specific.

It's not like you don't like the boy you're going to marry or his family, you don't even know them & you didn't even try to ever learn about them as it was a forced marriage.

•FLASHBACK•
"We've fixed your marriage!" The man whom I call my Appa says entering in my room. To be honest, I wasn't much stunned. I saw it coming when my parents suddenly started acting sweet with me & asked me to join & sit with this stranger lady who I guess was my future mother-in-law.

My parents. They're like that. They always act sweet whenever they need a favour from me. Usually kids are childish like that but in my case it's opposite. Just perks of having toxic & controlling parents. I've even lost hope of changing their perspective.

"Your marriage is fixed with Je-" I show them my hand stopping them from speaking further.
"I don't care whoever it's. It's not like if I've got any chance to deny to this marriage proposal if I even learn his name." I scoff at my mother's fake concern for me.

"Great then! Now do us atleast one favour by sticking to your words. Mr. Jeon & we've decided the wedding date. It's next week!"

•PRESENT TIME•
My parents have been like this. Controlling & dominating whom I've been enduring with since my childhood. Be it my studies or my personal life, from my dreams to my passions, they always wanted me to act like a puppet of theirs. But since ever I failed for the 2nd time for the entrance exam of the university they dreamed me to admit in, they had totally turned their heads away from me.

So I was expecting them to take such a step. I was happy atleast I'd no more live as their toy in that hell. But after learning that even this marriage was a business for them, my heart shattered into pieces. The guy I'm going to marry is actually marrying me because his father wants him to be the CEO of their company as that position was in threat because of his competitive brother whom he doesn't want to take over his business. So they needed a girl probably of a nice background with high social status, who could marry his son & save his newly begun career which was in danger because of rumors of him being an immature brat, who's a womaniser & isn't responsible enough to take such a high position in a company which is always named in top companies of South Korea.

But, here I'm sitting helpless, in wait of being hitched to a man who doesn't even see me as his life partner but a mere business deal. For me, marriage has always been a commitment I had thought in my mind. And being tied forcefully to someone like this, I don't think I can give him the love of a wife ever. I don't even know what kind of person he really is. Neither I'm having any expectations from him. The very least I'm wishing is that I get a bit of space for me in that new house I'm going to spend my whole life in which.
