The door was answered by a handsome man who got emotional seeing the duo, his lips shivered. Their eyes met and once again Preeta was met with a sense of dearness and overwhelm. "P...Pr...Preeta," he stammered and she gasped as to how does this handsome stranger knew his name. "Sorry, but have we met before?" she asked. His eyes widened and jaw dropped. "What? What are you saying? Tell me its a joke Preeta, please," he said, Bela looked on in her snake version, Preeta sighed. "Joke? Why would I lie? I don't know you, really," she said a little sternly.
He was met with a state of shock, bewilderment and sadness. "Fine, you don't know me, who's she? This child you're carrying? Tell me? Why is she with you?" he asked. "Sorry, forgot about her, the one who drove me till here told me this is my in laws house and I can't recall a single thing, this child must be yours," she said and handed Pihu to him. While taking her, their hands brushed past each other and she felt a total different feeling. She couldn't take her eyes off him. "Who's it Karan?" asked an elderly woman's voice which caused him to turn.
So his name is Karan, but why does it feel like I have come here before? Why do I feel connected to this name Karan and Pihu all of a sudden? Preeta thought waiting for the owner of the voice to come into view. Before Karan could answer, the elderly woman herself came and stood by his side. As soon as she saw Preeta, she couldn't help but get emotional and caressed her face eyeing her from top to bottom. Preeta was deeply confused. Why is this woman showing so much care to me? She thought.
