As Timmy approached the group of scavengers, he could see that they were just a ragtag bunch of survivors from all walks of life. They saw that Timmy was badly hurt and welcomed him into the group.

There was Jack, a former soldier with a gruff exterior but a heart of gold. Then there was Rosie, a tough-as-nails woman who had worked at a factory before the blast. And finally, there was Sam, a quiet young man who had been a student before the world fell apart.

At first, the group was wary of Timmy. But when they saw the extent of his injuries, they took pity on him. They gave him food and water, and he slowly started to earn their trust.

As they traveled through the wasteland together, the group shared their stories. Jack had been a soldier during the war but had deserted when he saw the destruction it caused. Rosie had been a factory worker but had lost her job when the bombs fell. Sam had been a student, studying to be a doctor before the world was plunged into chaos.
