Christina's POV

I pace around the room, Josh sitting down as I think, or try to think. My mind is foggy. "Centurion, you need to calm down," Josh says. I stop pacing around and look at him. "Calm down? How? I am in love with an enemy's daughter. An enemy that has been trying to kill me and take over my worlds for years. So how exactly am I supposed to calm down?" I ask him, my eyes glaring into his.

"I have a suggestion, but I don't know how you're gonna take it," he says, standing up as fear suddenly shows itself on his face. I look at him carefully, my hands burying themselves on the pocket of my pants.

"What is it?" I ask, my nerves slowly rising as frustration takes over me. He looks into my eyes and says, "End the war." I freeze for a second before my eyes widen in shock as his answer was totally unexpected.

"What?" I ask him, just to be sure that I heard right. "It's the only thing to do right now," he says, his eyes pleading for my approval. I think really hard. I sigh as no other idea comes up on my mind. I turn and look at Josh, my mind finally made up.

"Fine," I tell him, sighing deeply as I hope that I am not making a mistake. "But that's as far as I can go. No connections will be made with them, but we will no longer be enemies," I emphasize before turning away from him and walking to my desk.

If this is the only way for me to keep Bianca without having to worry too much then this is exactly what I'll do. Hopefully, everything will work out fine.
