THIS SCENE BAHA
"mi amor?" (name)'s mamá's voice was heard from downstairs. (name) had paused her silent sobbing, wiping the tears off with the ends of her skirt.
the door creaked open. "hey. dinner's ready. it would be nice if we could eat together." (name) faintly smiled. "i'll be right there." she squeaked. (mother's name) sighed, "what's wrong (name)?" (name) sniffed, "am i.. loveable?"
her mamá's eyes shot wide. "of course you are. you're kind and enthusiastic, why would you say that?" she sat beside the girl, giving her a tight hug. "just.. stuff." (name) shrugged. "right." (mother's name) teased.
"okay, okay, so i got rejected. again. but- it's okay everybody gets rejected right? like.. eight times." (name) whispered the last part to herself. her mamá sighed, grabbing her face and cupping it.
her mamá kissed her nose. "you will find someone my love. one day, they will love you like you're their whole world. like nothing else matters, and it will be so magical." (name) couldn't help but cry again, but a different cry. she laid on her mamá's shoulder, continuing to tear up.
present day ༊*·˚
(name) stood up and walked towards the direction of the sound. hearing as it was coming from her window, she peeked by the window to meet the sun's rays as it goes down.
yet, she was too in her head to go check who it really is. probably another clueless suitor of hers.
"i love you too much.. to live without you loving me back." camilo's voice. but she's never heard him play before, maybe once or twice for parties but.. this was tue first that she could genuinely hear the guitar.
"i love you too much. heaven's my witness and this is a fact." (name) leaned over her railing, a wide smile on camilo's face. "god my hermano is so cheesy." carlos teased. "it runs in the family then." sól shot, krystel let out a soft gasp.
"i know i belong," "when i sing this song."
(name) was sort of confused, why was he doing all this? "there's love above love, and it's ours 'cause i love you too much." townspeople around them had stopped what they were doing to either dance, watch sweetly, or even just smile.
"i live for your touch." (name) had so unexpectedly gained a love with a shapeshifter. "i whisper your name night after night." camilo continued the strumming of the guitar. "i love you too much. there's only one feeling and i know is right."
"i know i belong, when i sing this song." camilo shot glances at carlos. carlos acted all unsuspecting, giving a shurg and a smirk. "there's love above love and it's ours 'cause i love you too much."
(name) watched the kids dance and the señors and señoras smile ever so widely.
"heaven knows your name, i've been praying.." camilo had switched key. (name) kept her grin. camilo was so lovesick it made everybody around them lovesick. "to have you. come here by my side."
"without you a part of me's missing. just to make you, my home i will fight." the strumming of the guitar got louder. suddenly realization hit (name), she was betrothed to the camilo madrigal?
carlos whispered something in sól's ear, which she passed on to krystel. krystel nodded, running past the crowd and into the madrigal home.
mirabel and her sisters, as well as dolores and mariano came rushing outside letting out 'aws.'
"i know i belong," slowly, the group had piled top of each other. "when i sing this song." camilo way too focused on (name) did not know what was happening behind him.
"there's love above love and it's ours, 'cause i love you too much."
luisa first placed mariano on her shoulders, carlos, isabela, and everybody else, krystel held camilo's legs as he stood top of her shoulders.
"i love you too much." camilo let out a soft yelp of surprise, (name) giggled to herself at their antics. "i love you too much, heavens my witness and this is a fact." (name) was now finally facing camilo.
their faces inches apart, "you live in my soul." he smiled. "your heart is my gold." she mirrored his and her eyes twinkled.
"there's love above love and it's mine 'cause i love you." (name) joined in singing, harmonizing with his own voice. "there's love above love and it's yours 'cause i love you."
"there's love above love and it's ours.. if you'll love me as much." and she kissed him. she let go, "you're so cute." she cupped his cheek. "i know." the pillar of teenagers had started shaking, "luisa you good?!" mirabel yelled down.
"losing - balance!" luisa yelled, causing all of them to fall. (name) gasped, running downstairs to go check on them. "jeez that was a fall, you guys okay?!" (name) rushed over to camilo's side. krystel and sól engulfed (name) in a hug.
"you're engaged!" they cried tears of joy. "stop crying you'll make me, cry!" (name) cried along with them, as them three laid on the grass.
