Chapter #12

"Like what.?" I hear someone else say behind me.

I turn around and see Liam standing in the door way. "Liam, could you go back into the room.? I need to talk to Niall alone, if you don't mind."

"He's fine,  I guess i cant hide this forever." Niall says, getting up froom the floor. "Athena, she's..well, she is my cuzin. My unkle; her dad.. h-he would come over to my house with Athena. She would have cuts up and down her arms. I never asked why." Tears formed in his eyes. I can't stand seeing him like this. He went on. "When i was a bit older I finaly had enough with his lies. I asked Athena what really happened. Might have killed her, and me. I just had to get it off my chest. He dad came into the room, he knew what we had been talking about. H-his eyes where blood red. He had been drinking with my dad. Whitchg made everything wores." Niall stops talking for a moment. His eyes landing on the door way where Liam had just been standing. "Hai." He shyly says.

"Who are you tal--" I trun around and see Athena in Harry's arms.  I start walking over to them, "I thought she was asleep."

"She was, until she woke up scraming." Harry says, speaking for her. "I think someone stillhas night mares.!" 

"Real funny Styles.! Now put me down.!" Athena comands, hitting Harry in the chest. "And i wasnt scraming.!" She walks over to me, burying her head in my chest. I rap my arms around her, glaring at Harry. "I wasnt scraming, you would have heard me. I swear, I wasnt.!" She wempers into my chest.

"I know, I know." I rest my head on hers.

"N-Niall, I'm really sorry I brought you into all of this. I really am." Athena walks to Niall, whiping the tears from her eyes. "I never thought you would do what you did. I never wanted you to get hurt. I-I-I just needed someone to talk to. I never ment to get you mixed up in the middle of this all. I never wanted anyone to know, e-e-even m-y m-m-m-mom." I look at Niall, he has the same look in his eyes; help. I walk up behind Athena and rap my arms around her, burying my face in her neck, "Niall.! Just don't stand there.! Say something.! Please, anything.! Let me know you understand why I ran away.! Do something.!" Athena, practicly yelling, says. "Nia--"

Niall nothing.!" Niall snaps. My head shoots up. What the hell just happened.? "Athena, you always tell me i should understand why you did what you did.! But yet, you don't understand why I was the one who had to move in with the fucker.!" Athena gasps. "Yeah.! Never thought I was the one who was picked to help him.?! Well, I had to. He did what he did to you, only with a fight. I never let him get the best of me. I never gave in. I foght back.! Something you should try.!" Niall turns around and starts running down the hall.

"Niall.! Get back her.!" Liam calls out.

Niall stops running and turns back around, tears streming down his face. "Leave me alone.! I'll come back once i calm down.!"
