|| 6 || - Bugs And Gossip!

"I got, another one!" Ayashi joyously celebrated the other Onikabuto he had managed to capture. The young boy was now caked in mud and dust from head to toe, along with few tree leaves and small twigs after running around Mt. Yougou.

Ayashi places the beetle away in a little cage with the rest of the other beetles he'd managed to catch.

"Now time to win some beetle fights!" Ayashi excitedly yells to himself before running to Inazuma City.

Ayashi makes his way over to Naganohara Fireworks - noticing a group of other kids surrounding Yoimiya. Ayashi's brows knitted together as the corner of his mouth turned downward.

Seeing such a big crowd (which were fifteen kids in total) of people, made Ayashi find this situation to be a very agonising one. The young boy didn't get along with this group of children, nor does he want to after 'the grave incident', as the people in Inazuma City would call it.

"Oh hey Ayashi! Are you coming over to join us?" Yoimiya called out to the boy. All the kids turning over to see him.

Ayashi grew notably discomfited by all the eyes staring at him from the other children. Some of the kids began talking to one another in hushed whispers - most likely talking about the infamous Ayashi from the 'the grave incident'.

Ayashi solemnly nods to Yoimiya's query and soon joins the group, some kids quickly moving aside to keep a distance from the boy, but continued to stare at him with either curiosity, wary or fright.

Ayashi just glowered to no one in particular, finding it just how ridiculous all the children around him were acting. Whatever was said about him after 'the grave incident' was clearly an exaggeration - event the title of the event was an exaggeration in his opinion. All the stares could also be from the fact he was barefooted and covered in dirt.

"How about we have a beetle fight competition since there's so many of us here?" Yoimiya suggests.

Majority of the kids agreeing while those who didn't, weren't keen on handling bugs.

"You guys can get into teams or go solo. As for the prize... I'll think about it as we go along." Said Yoimiya.

The kids immediately group up with few going solo - Ayashi obviously going solo.

"Hah! Another one bites the dust!" Ayashi laughed as recites a phrase he read in a book. He managed to beat his fourth opponent - the only people celebrating his victory was himself and Yoimiya.

A child with a butterfly pin whispers, "He's probably cheating or something to win."

"Maybe he's using magic!" Another child with pink hair exclaimed in a hushed tone.

"You guys whisper so loudly! I can hear you!" Ayashi states as he turned over to the whispering kids, a glowering at them.

The two shriek and run off to keep a distance from Ayashi.

"Okay guys! It's time for--" Yoimiya starts, but is soon interrupted a new comer.

"Now hold it just right there! How could you have a beetle fight without your 'One and Oni Beetle Gladiator'!"
