8: Avoiding Me

"Aigoo How are you getting a dream about him and I don't?"

"I have no idea..."

Hana gave him a suspicious smirk. "By the way, I want you to give him the gift I prepared. He's been good to me and Woojin."

"Why don't you give it yourself? He would love to see you-" The other quickly shook her head

"I don't want him to find out about my condition."

Hanbin found a sad smile plastered on her face. As much as he wants the two to meet, it's his sister's choice and he should respect it. "Fine... When am I gonna give it to him?"

"Well, there won't be school tomorrow and the following days because of the Holiday..."

"right. I almost forgot.."

"Just carry it with you to the café in case you might bump into him."

The next day, Hanbin did as followed. Hana's gift bag was sitting on the desk next to him as his eyes were glued on his phone screen, brows knitted together.

"Should I call him?..." he muttered, contemplating hard until he attempted to call the guy. The phone rang, but no answer. He did it again, it rang, and it just only rang till it stopped. He decided to send a text

Can I have a coffee with you today?

Feet shuffling, he waited for a reply to appear on his phone.

"whatchu doing there hyung?"
Matthew came to his side and found the gift bag on the desk "What's this?"

"It's for Teacher Hao."

"Oh... the Teacher yesterday?"

"Hm. I tried to call him but he's not responding."

The entrance door of the shop opens and a customer came in, making Matthew quickly position himself at the counter to welcome him.
"Good Morning Sir!"

"Hello. Do you sell Strawberry Swedish Ice Tea?"

"We do!"

"I'll get one then."

"Okay, we'll prepare it for you, please sit down." Matthew started walking to the kitchen to work while Hanbin secretly examines the standing customer from his desk, judging if he is a model. His figure was tall and his hair was dyed blonde.

Matthew suddenly rushes out of the kitchen going to Hanbin. "Hyung, we ran out of strawberries."

"Really??" he glances at the guy "Tell the customer if he can wait while I go buy the strawberries"
He said as he stood up and quickly walks out of the place

"Sir, uhmm there's an inconvenience, so it might take longer to serve your drink. Can you wait for it?"

"Ahh..sure. No problem."

While Matthew handles the shop, Hanbin went to the grocery store, getting a few packs of strawberries in the fruit section before running to the counter.

As the cashier scanned the packs, someone caught his eye in the crowd. He quickly paid for the strawberries and started walking in his direction

"Teacher Hao!" he called, and Zhang Hao turns around. Hanbin waved at him smiling whilst walking in his direction, but as soon as the other saw him, Hao's eyes widen. He quickly walks in the other direction, pulling the younger boy that was standing next to him.
