We see 8 heroes walk through a portal from Mars. These were the defenders who were helping fight a war against invaders. The 8 heroes that fought were Bullseye (Floyd Greenberg), Morgana, Poseidon (Paul Moon), Comet Girl (Cassie Brady), Northwind, Speed Demon (Elena Griffin), Shadow Queen (Amanda Myers), and Immortal (Brandon Grayson).
Immortal: (exhales) Planet Earth. How I missed thou.
Morgana: Indeed. Shall we inform Global security?
Bullseye: Good idea.
At Washington DC.
Security agent: Sir, I'm picking up several powerful auras heading this way.
????? ???????: Who?
Security agent: We don't know! What should we do?
???: Prepare the army just in case.
Agent: Yes, sir! (Hits a red alert button)

30 soldiers ran down to the entryway of global security with their pistols ready to fire.
Soldier: (Sees the defenders) Ready! Aim! FIRE!!!!!
The soldiers then began shooting their pistols at the defenders.
Immortal: (Sees the bullets) Look out!
(The defenders began dodging)
Speed Demon: WHAT THE HELL?!
Morgana: Why is global security shooting at us.
Bullseye: It's been 2 years since we left for Mars! We need to get to them and tell them the tr(slowed)uuuuu...
Speed Demon: 😏 (Starts going bullet time and flicks away every single gun before walking back to the others)
Bullseye: (back to normal speed) uuuuuth. Has anyone got an i- (Sees the soldiers knocked out and looks at Speed Demon) 😑 really?
Speed Demon: 😁. C'mon, let's head in! (Heads to the agency)
Everyone else: 😑
At global security, the group entered the doors.
Speed Demon: HEY, CECIL!!!!
Cecil: (Sees her and the others) Well, I'll be as I live and breathe. The defenders.
Immortal: Nice to see you as well, Cecil.
Northwind: What has happened on the planet while we are gone?
Cecil: Not much here in America. The other countries have also been doing okay. Except for England.
Poseidon: England? What's happening there?
Cecil: Someone is doing vigilante work when it's outside of the law of vigilantism. It's possible to believe they're an agent in disguise working with D.O.O.M. I want you all to find out if that's the case.
