Misty and Melony: PAPA! (Hugs Mario)

Mario: Hehe... Hey, girls. Is everyone okay?

Misty: Yep. Also, look at the news! (Points to the TV)

Mario: (Looks at the TV)

News Announcer: Good evening, everyone. Today, the legendary heroes themselves, the defenders, have returned to Planet Earth from their 2 year war on Mars.

Mario: Well, I'll be damned.

Meggy: The defenders! I always loved playing with their action figures!!!

Mario: Oh yeah! Especially the diamond

Mario and Meggy: Deluxe edition ruby encrusted caped Immortal! YOU HAD THEM AS WELL!!!! (Kisses each other)

Misty and Melony: 😏☕️

Mario and Meggy: (notices) 😳😳😳😳

Misty: When are the younger siblings?

Mario: MISTY!

New announcer: This just in. Immortal has an announcement to make regarding the vigilantism law.

Immortal: Thank you, everyone. I am today to announce a change in the law of vigilantism. While I still allow the law to be legal, vigilantes are to only attack those who are criminals. Those of the doom patrol and other are off limits. That means you, Crimson star!

Mario: 😧

Immortal: That's all I have to say.

Mario: Turn it off.

Misty: (does so) Daddy?

Mario: I'll be in the gym. (Heads to the gym and destroys it) FUCKING DAMNIT!!!!!

The next day was pretty boring for Mario. Only stopping a bank robbery and a car chase.

Mario: Stupid... cheesy... superhero shit lord! (Murmurs other cursewords)

Mario turned around and saw his loyal sidekick, Turbo.

Mario: Oh, hey Turbo. (Exhales)

Turbo: The new law hasn't been kind to you, has it.

Mario: Damn straight. The only jobs I've had so far are a robbery and a car chase.

Turbo: Ouch. I really wish I could do something to help you.

They then heard an alarm at a nearby bank. It was a member of the invaders, Trapster.

Mario: Oh no! THAT'S TRAPSTER OF THE INVADERS! Ugh, I can't do anything about it, though!

Turbo: Actually, you can.

Mario: What?

Turbo: Go.

Mario: ... Got it. Yo, JACKASS!!!

Trapster: Huh? (Sees Mario) Well, well, well. The Crimson star.

Mario: Stand down, Trapster.

Trapster: Yeeeah, not gonna happen. (Fires several nets)

Mario: (cuts through them all) Weak technique.

Trapster: Hmmph. (Throws a capture cube)

Mario: (dodges it) Nice assortment of weapons, Trapster. But, I you aren't invulnerable to them. (Throws it)

Trapster: (dodges it) Nice throw, Tom Brady. (Mario disappeared) Huh?

Mario: (appears from behind) Suprise. STAR FIST!!! (Knocks Trapster out)

Trapster: (falls) Ugh.

Mario: Trapster, you are under arrest. (Cuffs him) You have the right to remain silent. Anything and everything you say will be used in a court of l-

???????: We'll take it from here, Crimson star.

Mario: (Looks up and sees Immortal) Hmmph. Immortal. Pleasure to finally meet you.

Immortal: (picks Trapster up) We'll handle it from here. And let you off with a warning for disobeying the law.

Mario: Oh, c'mon, he was robbing a bank.

Morgana: Yes, but he was a part of the invaders. You do realize that Immortal said to handle only those who are criminals when giving the speech, right?

Mario: Yeah×3. I know the law. But you should reconsider what you said, Immortal.

Immortal: ... Look, just obey the law. Cause next time, there will be a $3,000 fine.

Mario: What?! THAT IS UNFAIR!!!!

Immortal: Unfair or not, it's the law!!!

Mario: Grrr... Fine. (Flys off)

Immortal: (takes Trapster) Let's go.

Mario: (sighs) I can't believe that stupid law.

Turbo: What are you going to do about it?

Mario: I'm just gonna have to do what they want. But, if something bad happens, and they don't show up in time, I'm handling it by myself.
