Chapter 4 Relationships and trouble

I walk to my locker in utter silence as I close my locker Brayden is standing there kissing Callie . He doesn't see me at my locker so I close it and head to home room . When I get there grace is sitting down at her desk and I slide in next to her. "hi" I say "hi lover boy 12:00" says grace " oh aria there you are "says Brayden out of breath."i have been looking all over for you "he says " oh really I thought that you and your girlfriend were too busy locking lips for you to be looking for me."i say in disgust "i didn't see - "he says "save it Brayden I say and turn away "aria please "he pleads "maybe we shouldn't be best friends anymore "I say trying to hold back tears then mrs peach walls in and takes attendance. the rest of all of my morning periods went by in a blur. I walk to my locker with grace and she says"hey aria I want you to meet some of my friends at lunch today." "ok"i say then when I put my books in my locker and I walk over to graces locker and as I am there I see Brayden going to his locker . "ok aria lets do a walk by "says grace "ok" I say I put all my effort into not wanting to kiss him wait what am I thinking I am mad at him.,as I walk by he looks up."aria please"he says "Brayden "I say and keep walking . "Nice job " says grace and high fives me "thanks " I say even though I feel bad about what i just did. we reach the lunch room and grace introduces me to two other girls. " hey guys this is aria" says grace "hi aria I'm Keira and this is Maya". says Keira "hi"says Maya "hey "I say "guys me and aria have to go get lunch we will be back."says grace for lunch today we had a choice of pizza or salad or tacos and I can't decide. finally I decide on a salad and a piece of pizza and a soda. after lunch I say bye to grace because we don't have gym together but me and Brayden do ugh yet another class that I have to deal with him but at least Callie isn't in my gym period .
Time skip a week later
I hurry out of the cafeteria and slip on my gym cloths and rush into the gym and I get paired up with Brayden. We have to run laps together and normally I would like that but since we haven't been friends for a whole week I don't . as soon as we start our first lap Brayden says" I broke up with her" "you what! "I exclaim " I hope it wasn't because of me was it?" I add "no she was just not the right girl for me and besides she isn't nice to all the other girls ," he says " oh" I say but inside I am screaming and jumping up and down with joy. "i hope we can be friends again ". he says looking worried that I would say no. " yes" I say "great and how about we watch a celebratory movie at my house tonight he says excitedly " let me check my schedule " um nope I am free ." i say then we finish our laps and go on with our day. I later tell grace that Brayden broke up with Callie. then I skip all of the way home because Brayden is walking home with his friends . then when I get home from school I get ready for mine and Braden's movie night.
