The Long clan was fully revived one month later. The clan was rebuilt and a huge banquet was organized in Long feng's honor despite his several refusals.
A few days after the banquet, Long feng, Yan Jian and Li yu'er bid farewell to the long clan and set out back to the Mortal heaven sect. After all, they had come out unofficially. It wasn't wise to spend more than a month outside to prevent incurring any displeasure.
"It feels quite nice to be part of a clan." Yan Jian laughed.
"It is" Long feng nodded. He had profited the most from this venture. His soul power reached the rank one heaven layer and his martial power reached the rank one Yin level. This was a double profit for him. "What of your clan? Don't you have one?"
Yan jian smiled.
"My clan… if I do have one, I have no idea about it. Ah, it's a long story. I'll tell you some other time."
Long Feng nodded and didn't push for answers.
"Brother Yan, when is the province competition?" Long feng suddenly asked.
"Oh. I suppose it is in less than a year time. Probably eleven months left. Are you planning on taking part in the competition?" Yan Jian asked.
"Yes. There shouldn't be an issue right?"
"The lowest requirement to partake in the province competition is to be a peak Yin level cultivator or a Yang level cultivator. Also, you must be below fifty years" Yan Jian said.
Long feng thought about it.
"Peak Yin level. That could be a headache. I have to reach the peak of the Yin level within eight months?" He asked.
"I never asked you to join the province competition!" Yan Jian replied with a roll of his eyes.
"What is the purpose of organizing a competition? I don't see the use." Long feng said.
"Who knows? Something don't need a good reason. Perhaps the Jianhai clan wishes to know the talents of the province in order to groom them. The more powerhouses we have in the Jianhai Province, the more prosperous the Jianhai clan will be." Yan Jian replied lazily.
Long Feng lifted his brows curiously.
"How many provinces does this Yihua Continent has?" He inquired.
"I think seven or so. It should be seven." Yan Jian replied, then added. "I come from the Blue Sky province."
"Instead of rotting away here in this province, why don't we venture out to the other provinces? Our cultivation Speed would definitely improve." Long feng asked suddenly, a twinkle in his eyes.
"Don't you want to partake in the province competition anymore?" Yan Jian asked.
"Not really. I don't want to compete in meaningless competition only to end up gaining more enemies." Long feng replied.
"I am honestly still wondering how the Exalted spirit emperor died. There has to be a logical reason." Yan Jian said.
"You just said there doesn't have to always be a reason for something. Now you're searching for a logical one?" Long Feng asked with a laugh.
Yan jian also laughed while scratching his head.
They traveled trudged on and arrived at the Mortal heaven sect two days later.
Long feng, upon returning to the sect, immediately went into seclusion to strengthen his foundation, Yan Jian went into seclusion to try for rank two Yin level, while Li Yue'er simply returned to her pavilion.
As soon as she locked her pavilion, she took off her pure white veil, revealing a delicate snow white beauty. Her icy blue pupils that sparkled in her cold eyes, complemented by her small oval face and small pink lips were alluring.
