"I never knew you were that someone waiting for meeeeee, cause we were just ki-"

"ZAIRAAA" Jude shouted.

Why can't anyone ever let me finish the chorus!

"What now Jude?" I asked as she laid in her bed with only half her clothes and a packet of chips in her hands watching soap dramas.

"Oh can you pass me the remote pretty please"

"You seriously called me for that? I was in the middle of cooking!" I annoyingly replied.

Without a care in the world of me being annoyed she monotonously asked, "What are you cooking?"

"Baking actually.. a cake."

" It's your birthday?" she asked stuffing another handful of chips in her mouth.

"Not mine idiot. It's Percy's birthday."

"Oh that book boy. Seriously Zaira who celebrates a fictional character's birthday. He doesn't even exis-" I threw the mixing spoon at her face.

"Okay cool. No cake for you." I said smiling

These people never understand a fictional character can mean as much to you as a real person. Being a loner since day one, I've only had my fictional buddies with me all along. Your brain can't distinguish love for a ficitonal character from love for a real person. Like it knows you're in love and it's a real emotion. And that's what matters. Ain't no way I'm abandoning them.

Enough with the lecture let me get back to my cake.

Midway into making the batter and I realize I've run out of blue food colour. I can't possibly celebrate Percy's birthday without blue food. Guess I'll just have to rush to a store. There's one nearby which is open 24/7. It's still an hour and half until midnight. I'll return before that.

I rush to the parking lot to my bike. Walking would take a lot of time so bike it is. As I approached I noticed that there's a bicycle parked which has completely blocked my vehicle. Like it's parked in such a way that it is blocking the only way for my bike's exit. Who tf parks like that. I looked around in hopes of finding the cycle's owner but no success. I waited a long time for the owner to return but I was getting late so finally I asked the watchman, "Excuse me...do you know who parked their cycle here? It's parked in such a reckless manner I can't even take my bike out!"

"A man just parked it here. He said he'll be back soon but it's been an hour." The watchman replied.

I swear people like him don't even possess basic ethics. I'll wait for exactly two more minutes and if the owner doesn't return then I ....I.....I will just walk to the store.

This reminds me that the cycle looks awfully familiar. I took a closer look and the flashbacks came rushing in.

GET AWAYYYYY.

Wait a damn minute. It's the cycle guy! Yes yes I remember this is the same cycle that tripped me. I was in the middle of processing all of this when the owner returned and started going with his cycle. No no he can't leave yet. I have to get him at least apologize to me.
