The Red Halo: Outset

the next day

(y/n) was turning a lot in his bed as he had a hard time sleeping last night, probably because of how long he stayed up from last night. As he tried to go to sleep, his alarms went off which didn't help (y/n) at all. So (y/n) slapped the alarm clock away from him but it was still going, so (y/n) got up from his bed, still tired and walked up to the alarm clock and then smashed it.

(y/n): god dammit, i know they needed to be loud but they could at least make a more pleasing sound to hear when someone wakes. Hey wait, what days is it?

So (y/n) took out his phone to look at the day, it was the next day after what he did to the VFS officer and the thugs. Also it was 4 hours before he had to go to school.

(y/n): well at least i have 4 hours before i have to go to school, wait how long did i get to sleep? Actually I don't care, sleep is overrated.

So (y/n) then decided to go to his bathroom to wash his face for the day and to hopefully wake himself up. Once he was in his bathroom, he turned on the water in his sink and started to splash himself with water. After he cleaned his face with water, he looked at his mirror to see something that scared him

He saw a man with long white hair with red eyes, he had a red halo on top of his head and had red wings. He had also had red pulsing blood veins that were glowing bright red, red that he could never forget especially in his dreams.

(y/n) was scared by what he was seeing that he screamed and backed up to the wall of his bathroom, he quickly rubbed his eyes hoping that he was just seeing things and that he was just in a dream. He looked at his mirror again to see that it was just him in the mirror. (y/n) took some time to take a deep breath and process what he had just seen.

(y/n): what the fuck was that?

(y/n) tried to think about it but every time he did, his head just hurt and (y/n) didn't want to deal with that today so he opened one of the draws and took out painkillers pills and took some. After he did, he left the bathroom and tried his best to ignore what he had seen and just chalked it up as was just him seeing things because of the lack of sleep.

(y/n) then went downstairs to have some breakfast for the day and once he got downstairs, he saw Dachi waiting for him.

(y/n): hey Dachi, time to eat.

(y/n) then gave Dachi ham to eat and he gave himself some cereal and milk. Then he went to his living room and turned on the TV to watch the news to see if his actions were on the news.

News reporter: in recent news, the thugs that killed Sam and Oscar, were reported beaten to near death inside an abandoned warehouse. The thugs were known for killing Sam and Oscar and were tried but were not found guilty. But not only were they found beaten by a person they called "a man in red", they were reported to say that their magic was taken from them as well.

(y/n): good, they can't hurt anyone anymore.

New reporter: the same fate can be said for the VFS officer who had killed peaceful protesters and was tried but was not guilty as well. Has reported that a" man in red" broke into his house and beat him up as well and not only that, had also said to have his magic taken as well.

(y/n): well at least nothing valuable was lost.

News reporter: because of these people's magic has been taken which has never been heard of or ever considered possibly, the VFS department speculate that the "person in red" is black magic user. Though the VFS department or anyone doesn't believe that even black magic can take other people's magic away, it is considered not out of reach and because of that, "the person in red" is considered very dangerous and has now been given a 20 million dollars bounty in his head.
