Chapter 3 - New complications

Sonic thought that he had stopped Eggman's plan when he destroyed the Lunar Bomb, but he was wrong. A hidden room in the base revealed a new set of machines activated by a new Lunar Bomb, which sent Sonic flying across the room with a powerful blast.Sonic realized that he was outmatched and needed to retreat immediately. A few miles away from the base, he stopped to catch his breath, leaning against a tree trunk, defeated by Eggman once again.But for Sonic, there was always another way out. He took a deep breath and decided that he would need to find a way to stop the Lunar Bomb before it was too late.Sonic knew he had to move fast, so he raced back to the base, prepared to face Eggman once again. But as he entered, he found that the base was heavily fortified with advanced technologies beyond his abilities to overcome.Sonic realized that he was no match for the new Lunar Bomb and knew he had to flee the scene to regroup. The hedgehog was determined to destroy the bomb and stop Eggman once and for all, but he had to avoid being caught in the blast.With the base shaking under the Lunar Bomb's power, Sonic saw the Moon shining high above. An idea struck his mind - if the Lunar Bomb used the moon's energy to operate, maybe he could use its light to weaken the bomb's blast.Sonic turned to escape once again and chased the Moon, knowing that he was racing against time. With all his might, he managed to land on the Moon's surface and searched for any sign of weakness.Sonic searched with haste, but there was no time left. The Lunar Bomb exploded with enough force to shake the entire galaxy. Sonic felt the blast's shockwave, knocking the wind out of him. The blast sent him flying deep into space as he clutched his chest, struggling to breathe.As Sonic slowly floated away into the void of space, he smiled to himself - he had done all he could to save the world
