As clouds painted the dusk sky, you watched as the band set up. You enjoyed going on tour with your family. This being the last show for your dad, Gerard Way, he was going to let you sing the first song of the show. You eagerly paced backstage, awaiting for yo ur name to be called out... "thanks everyone for coming..." He started, "now..here's my daughter...Shidgevelyn Dakota Dream Sky-Way!!" you tensed up as the crowd went wild.... As if controlled by a puppeteer, your legs stepped one after another, into the stage...before you knew it, you were in front of a crowd of thousands of people...wow.... Then, the music started...the beginning notes of demolition lovers... As your anxious eyes searched the crowd, you found someone familiar...someone....safe Colby Brock, a family friend. He was the lead singer of his own band, something witty and poignant like 'Tainted Love'.. just then, the words flew out of your mouth... "hand in mine into your icy blues.." When you began to sing, he did too. You locked eyes, almost as if you two were one. "and then I say to you" As the song went on, you blinked and he was gone. like a ghost in the snow. invisible. Before you could sing again, a strong voice took control of the song... it was Colby..... "as days fade and nights grow" He was on stage with you! You turned and locked eyes with the mysterious man, singing into eachother. Voices melodied like two song birds. You felt as if time consumed you both, yet no longer existed.
"i'll meet your eyes, I mean this forever"
Before it even began it was ended for you.
The last notes of the song played and you were brought back down from the clouds. The crowd cheered. Breaking the trance, you looked back at the crowd, thanking them and saying your goodbyes.
Leaving the stage, overwhelmed by the sheer emotion in that moment. Something so raw, something new..

Hours passed, the show was over, you were back in your dressing room relaxing on the couch. 'what was that?' you questioned, you never thought anything could ever happen between you and Colby, not in this life. The very thought of him consumed you, anything you did brought your mind back to him. Colby.
Just then, a light knock came at your door... You cautiously opened it.
