XI was fighting the wave of emotions trying to hit me. I was avoiding crying, couldn't do it in front of my son.
Damien was right in front of me, after all these years even, it felt unreal.
I couldn't depict anything from his eyes, they were stoic, and he looked emotionless. I could point out his hardened jaw with his freshly shaped facial hair.
It then came to my attention that he had a new scar right underneath his jawline, on his neck. It wasn't there 5 years ago, so only God knows what has happened since then.
I Don't know If I was happy and relieved to see him, or angry and desperate for answers. He just appears unannounced and takes my son away from me. First Damien gone now Axton? That's pretty fucked up from how I see it.
"C'mon Mommy, me and Daddy-" "Now Axton, what I told you about getting in random people's car? Did I tell you someone else was coming to pick you up?" I look down at my son, ignoring Damien's piercing eyes right in front of me.
I'll deal with that motherfucker later.
I watch as Axton's face turns into a frown as he crosses his arms. He must be tryna to act hard all in front of his Daddy because he's an extreme mommy's boy. One disapproving look from me and he's straight to the waterworks.
I raise my eyebrows at his response to me because who is he folding his arms at? "Hurry up and go get your shoes." I wasn't taking no for an answer either. I watch as he huffs and stomps as loud as he can with his bare feet on the polished, wooden floors.
"He's good here," I hear a very rich accented voice reply to me. With the assertiveness of his deep voice, I almost forgot how he sounded.
If I remember clearly, I don't remember asking Damien what to do with my child. He already decided to come back here unannounced and take him without my permission. Him being his biological father don't got shit with me.
Without thinking, I stood on my tippy toes and my hand collided with that hardass face of his. I was pissed off and the audacity he had was beyond me.
I watched as he stood there and just took it. Poking his tongue in the inner corners of his cheek before letting out a small snicker.
I grit my teeth, "I Don't see what's so funny that you just kidnapped my child after leaving me five years out of the blue, so tell me. I would love to laugh too." I replied in sarcasm, beginning to raise my voice.
