[War]
The gentle caress of the cold breeze ultimately woke War up; he expected to be surrounded by walls or people crowding him, but he was in an unfamiliar place instead of those. He could see how the surroundings felt old, as if he was standing somewhere ancient. War looked around again,n but his feet seemed stuck on where he was standing; he looked around again and realised he was standing on some sort of tall wall; it looked like a palace wall. War looked down and saw a crowd piling beneath the palace walls; it looked like they were waiting for someone. He looked around again, waiting for something to happen at the least. He was still trying to understand where he was and whether he was dreaming. Nothing made sense to him, but he opted to wait and see what unfolded.
It didn't take long for War to see any changes in the surrounding, he could perfectly see the crowd fidgeting in excitement, and he could also see some people approaching the palace wall. War was surprised when a person walked through him; he was invisible, got it—the man dressed in the finest silk that this particular era could afford. The station guards bowed in his presence, and War could only assume that the newcomer was influential or respected inside the palace.
"The noble consort, Wanwisa Ratsameerat, will be presented to the kingdom's people."
The second surprise, War was shocked to the core that he panicked a little. Am I too invested in the script that I'm even dreaming about it? But we have yet to write a scene like this. What was even happening, and where am I right now? War looked around, hoping that everything made sense, when he saw the approaching people from the last time, and it was now more evident. It was the entourage of Wanwisa.
Wanwisa, clad in the finest jewellery and wearing a red robe. War inspected more closely when he realised Wanwisa was wearing her wedding robe. War suddenly felt heavy and uneasy. He decided to push those feelings first and see what would happen first.
War watches Wanwisa's entourage closely, but he cannot stop fidgeting in his place; his guts are telling him that something bad will happen, and War hates the feeling that he can not do anything aside from watching everything unfold to him. As he watched Wanwisa, War suddenly found a very familiar face that was trailing right beside Wanwisa; he couldn't be wrong and had seen that face for almost ten years, it was Mark, but he looked older and was a little bit on the wild side, but still, it was Mark. just in a different era? A different life? War then inspected Mark, and based on how he was clad in armour, War could only deduce that he was someone who was in the military.
War really couldn't stand the fact that he was glued to one place, so he attempted to move again, and to his surprise, he could now move, so his next step was to go to Wanwisa's entourage, He walked with one goal in mind and that is figure out what the hell was even happening and how can he escape this funky situation that he was in. War was walking in large strides, determined to figure everything out. It was for his sanity, thank you so much. He met with the small entourage of Wanwisa when he felt the solemn aura around her. It was like she was walking to someone's funeral. It gave War another set of unpretty feelings. War had successfully joined the entourage when he heard Mark look alike whisper to Wanwisa.
"Once you have been presented, the whole palace gate will be opened wide. Your Highness can use that opportunity to run, people in our clan are mixed among the crowd and they will be able to fend for you while you make your escape." The Mark look-a-like explained. Wanwisa didn't reply but War saw how she looked at the crowd. War also looked at the crowd and he easily found the group of people who were helping Wanwisa to escape.
