Chapter 9 - First Step

In the evening, Taehyung was pacing back and forth... While Jungkook was laying on the mattress after taking pain killers and getting first aid treatment from Mrs. Min... the lady was very concerned when she saw Taehyung all drenched and Jungkook's face covered in bruises... Yoongi explained to her how Kyong and his friends were bullying the younger ones which made her curse and if it wasn't for Yoongi and Hoseok... the lady would have sent the 5 boys to hospital using her ladle...

Watching her being so mad at Kyong made Taehyung realize that Yoongi is more like his mother... He really falls in the category of 'Looks like a cinnamon roll... but could kill you'... However, right now his main concern is to convince Yoongi and Hoseok to come with them... To his bad luck, Jungkook is not ready to help him... "Yah Kookie... I know you aren't asleep... please help me"

The said male buried his head deeper in the duvet... "No" that's all he said... Taehyung sighed "Please Kookie... You were so excited to read the book then why are you being like this now" he tried to pull the comforter away from Jungkook but the younger male was holding it tightly... "I am not going to that witch lady's place... I already told you I don't give two shits about that book anymore... I love my life and I am very much happy"

"You are being overdramatic... She must be aware of something that we should also know... Don't you want to know about your relationship with Hoseok? Remember how he called you 'Peach'... don't you wan-"

"Fineeeeeeeeeeee... But if I die... please tell Uncle Kim that he is the best father and I am sorry for every trouble I gave him" Taehyung facepalmed himself at his cousin's words... "Why are you like this Kookie" the said male peaked his head out of the duvet "Cute and adorable?" Taehyung started laughing "Of cour- ACHOOOOO"

"Your sneezing will give me a heart attack one day" Taehyung rolled his eyes... but before he could say something Hoseok walked in with a bowl... "Hey Kookie... how are you feeling now?" His beautiful smile made Jungkook's heart thump loudly... the bitch was seconds away from jumping out of his mouth... "I... I a-am fine" he stuttered shyly... the older male's smile grew wide... "That's good... Eomma made soup for you..." He lifted a bowl slightly...

Taehyung was looking at both the men... Jungkook was looking exactly like the actress from the TV show who blushes madly after being fed by her crush... Hoseok was blowing the substance in the spoon before bringing it close to Jungkook's lips... If Taehyung didn't know about the older male being in a relationship... he would have yelled #couplegoals...

"Uh... Hoseok-shi..." the said male looked at Taehyung "You can just call me Hoseok hyung or even better... Hobi hyung" Taehyung smiled and continued "Okay... so Hobi hyung... Do you know where the Librarian Yuki lives?" Jungkook choked on his soup which made Hoseok pat his back repeatedly... "Of course, I know... Why do you ask?"

"Actually... Kookie wanted to read this one particular book which she said is at her house and if he wants to read it... he has to go there" Jungkook glared at Taehyung while Hoseok's mouth formed an 'o' shape... "Okay... I will take you there... Let me go call Yoongi hyung... He also wanted that black rose plant from her place" Saying that, Hoseok stood up and walked out of the room...

Jungkook and Taehyung looked at each other "Kookie no-"

"SHE HAS A FUCKING BLACK ROSE PLANT"

After lots of whining and drama by Jungkook... all four men finally made their way towards the Librarian's house... "What is this book you want to read?" Yoongi asked as they were just a few houses away from Yuki's place... "ummm... it's a... it's a Historical book... yeah... history and shit" Jungkook cursed himself for getting nervous around Yoongi but the older male didn't mind... He thinks both the younger men are too dumb... However, the only difference is... Jungkook is a sweet dumbo... and Taehyung is a jerk dumbo...

Finally they reached Yuki's place...

"Wow... It is less creepy than I thought it would be" Jungkook mumbled under his breath... but Hoseok heard it and started laughing "Why did you think it would be creepy?" Jungkook was about to tell Hoseok what happened in University but Taehyung was quick to butt in "When you said she is scary we thought her house will also be scary" Hoseok made a face of understanding before knocking the door...

After a few minutes of waiting, the door flew open revealing the old lady with a smile that made Jungkook hide behind Taehyung... The older two bowed in front of her "Good Evening Ma'am" the younger ones also followed suit... The old lady chuckled and moved aside for them to enter... "How many times have I told you not to call me ma'am... Just call me Yuki"

They all sat in the living room... and the old lady brought some snacks for them "Please, Have it" Hoseok and Yoongi took the heavenly smelling baked buns but when Taehyung was going to pick one, Jungkook pulled his hand away "Hey... They could be poisoned..." he whispered in Taehyung's ear...

The second youngest took a deep breath... "Kookie... they are also eating it" he pointed towards the Yoonseok duo... "So what... they could be immune to all this... but we are not... don't e-" Taehyung stopped talking when he saw the woman looking at him with a smile that wasn't frightening...

The silver haired male cleared his throat... which grabbed everyone's attention..."So... the book" Yuki nodded and stood up from her seat... "Come with me" Taehyung also stood up and pulled Jungkook up who was refusing to leave his place... Yoonseok was now giving them a skeptical look...

"Yoongi-ah... Hoseok-ah... You also come" Yuki's voice echoed in the entire house... which made the older two to also leave their place and walk behind the two weirdos... Once they entered the library, the door got shut behind them making Jungkook yelp and jump onto Taehyung... Yoongi rolled his eyes while Hoseok was holding back his laughter...

Yuki pointed to the cushioned floor "sit there all four of you" at this moment, even the oldest two were concerned as to what is going to happen now... but still sat down with the other two... Yuki came back with a big book and kept it right in front of them... all four young men looked at it with wide eyes... The cover has a picture of four men... but their faces were not clearly visible...

The title says - Love That Never Got Its Destiny

Taehyung was about to open the book when Yuki kept her hand over it... "I have a few questions to ask before you read this" they all waited for the lady to continue... "How many of you feel the burning sensation whenever you touch one another?" Jungkook was the first one to raise his hand followed by Taehyung, Hoseok and lastly Yoongi...

"Do you get the feeling like 'oh this has happened before'...?" All of them nodded their heads... "Who gets the flashes of the past... like you are looking at something and next minute you are somewhere else?" Taehyung bit his lower lip and raised his hand but got surprised when Hoseok also raised his hand...

"Do you all believe in rebirth?" This question made them all think for a minute before Hoseok and Jungkook nodded in yes while the other two shook their heads in denial... "You all know that there is a book about a great love story of a Daegu prince and a commoner who fell in love but never got the happy ending, right?" They all nodded... "But... the commoner and Daegu prince were not the only two who were in love"

Now. all of them were intrigued to know more... and that's exactly Yuki's next question "So, do you want to know what happened and who were they?" With a nod from all the young men... Yuki moved her hand away from the book... "Enjoy... you only have 2 hours to read as much as you can because I have to prepare my dinner after that and you all have to go home..."

Yoongi who was silent all the while finally asked "But why are you suddenly allowing us to read this book... like last time when we asked you about the book you shooed us away" the old lady was already at the entrance of the library... "Read... and you will find out" That's all she said before walking out of the library and locked the door behind her...

Taehyung who was growing impatient... opened the book and the first page of it made all of their eyes grow wide and jaws falling on the ground...
