Everyone else looked confused.
"Do you guys know each other?" Aarav asked.
"Yes, we are friends," Siya said.
"Friends? But how? Apart from us, you don't know anyone in Mumbai. When and where did you meet him, Siya?"
He asked with concern.
"At the party, that night," she said.
"Ohh."
"You all forgot me once again, and you too, Karthik."
Aunty looked at Karthik.
As he heard her voice, Karthik looked at her.
"Aunt, is that you?" he asked.
"I've been trying to call you for the past two days, but you haven't been picking up my calls. Where have you disappeared to?" Aunty said, her voice getting angrier.
Hearing her angry voice, Karthik went near her.
"I'm sorry, aunty! I've been so busy with shifting that I lost track of time, and that's why I couldn't even call you." He explained.
"You could have at least sent me a message. You don't even know how worried I was for you, Karthik." She replied!
Siya looked at them with confusion.
"Wait a minute, guys. Do you know each other?"
"Yes, Siya! This boy is my nephew"
The aunt said, referring to Karthik.
"Nephew? Oh, Karthik, you didn't tell me." Siya said, making a face.
"Well, you didn't ask me, Siya," Karthik mimicked her tone.
Siya folded her arms. "Not bad!"
Aunty looked at them.
"Looking at both of you, it seems like you have become good friends."
"Yes, Aunty! Karthik is very nice. He is such a gentleman." Siya said genuinely.
"Achaa."
"Karthik, please sit. Why are you standing like this?" Siya offered.
"Sure."
Karthik went to them and sat on the sofa opposite Siya.
Both Arjun and Aarav were looking at Karthik with sidelong glances, trying to understand what was going on.
"Arjun, meet Karthik. He is my elder brother's son. And Karthik, meet Arjun. He is my best friend's son," Aunty introduced.
"Hello, Mr. Rathore."
Karthik said, extending his hand for a handshake.
Arjun looked at him deeply for some time before shaking hands with him.
"Hello, I am Aarav Singhania, Arjun's best friend and director of ASR Enterprises. It's nice to meet you."
Aarav introduced himself while shaking hands with Karthik.
"It's nice to meet you too Sir," Karthik said.
"You can call me Aarav, there's no need for formality."
"Okay, Aarav."
"I think I don't need to introduce myself as you already know me," Siya shrugged her shoulders.
