A/N Info before reading
Hello and welcome to my English written story =D
I hope you find my story interesting and have a good time with it. I'm not native English-speaker, so forgive mistakes that might slide in here in there.
The inspiration for the story was actually from "The Immortal Contest 2022" at Wattpad's AsianFantasy account and prompt #12 "The Pig". I really wanted to participate but the story idea... EVOLVED. I'm not someone for writing short stuff it seems, no matter how many times I try. =/
Now, since it's inspired by a prompt from contest, there might be other stories with the same premise (MC going to the Garden of Life and Death, helping God Igong caring for the flowers etc.).
The mythology here in the story is the Korean one. I tried and still try my best in my research for all the information that the story will need, but I will definitely take some freedom at certain points to make things work since there are many Korean myths and a lot of them are overlapping with each other or are contradicting (because many Korean regions have different tales and myths). Most information that I have is from the internet, things from K-Dramas and the books I can find in my university's library (believe me or not: for a university that has a major called Korean Studies I only found one single book on Korean mythology...).
This is a FIRST DRAFT, meaning there will be mistakes (especially since I'm not a native-speaker) and will re-vise after some chapters the current chapters for mistakes as well as if I'm changing things for the plot because of resolving plotholes or getting further in my research and thus correcting things.
I would be grateful to constructive criticism and feedback and also for the alert if you find this story on any other website. I have NO intention to upload this anywhere else or make a translation of this in other languages, so if you find it somewhere else it was copied and stolen.
Not everyone has to like my book and that's okay =) If it's not for you, then it's not for you.
