Introduction

Imagine yourself finding out a secret that your parents’ whished you’d never know, how would you feel? Imagine getting kidnapped by what most people would say a fictional character, what would you do? Imagine having to do the last thing that ever crossed you mind  “ kill your family” How would you react?

Chapter 1

"Kasper I’m going to the library I’ll be back at 10:00" I said grabbing my keys hoping to head out before he can say a word

"Why don't you ever stay for one of my amazing parties”: he asks setting out the drinks"

 I groaned eternally "Ugh...parties aren't really my forte" I said hoping he’ll just let me go

"Ok, I get it you don’t want to hang out with your cool older brother" he said fake crying

“Come on Kasper don’t be like that,” I said playing along

“No just go, you’ve done enough damage” he sniffled shushing me away with his hands

After 2 minutes of tense moments we both bust out laughing, then kasper turned around “I love my little sister” he said hugging the life out of me. “Love you too big bro” I said feeling dizzy by the tightness of his hugs “Ok now go read some books in the library…Oh and if you hear strange noises don’t go near them, also don’t trust anyone” he said with a warning tone “Ok ok I promise now can I go” I begged “I'm serious Jade” He said as I walked through the front door.

I walked outside my house and felt a slight cool breeze; I shivered and pulled my jacket tighter. I then hopped in my new red sports car I got for my birthday I loved this. It was always clean and shiny it had the most comfortable leathers seat imported straight from Italy. I am very confident and I'm not easily scared, you can say I'm a tough girl but on the inside I’m a geek at heart. I always get good grades never got anything lower than a b-. I loved how my long jet-black hair flowed through the wind how my green eyes were so abnormal, and no one had these shade of green eyes. My pale skin due to Canada’s cold weather was so pale I could be considered dead. However I loved the every single detail about me except my tattoo/ birthmark. My parents said that I was born with it but I believe when I was younger the tattooed me because they were experimenting. My parents were real hippies back in the day but now they are uptight business people gone half of the month. I sometimes feel that I’m adopted because neither my mom nor dad has green eyes, or black hair. They have light brown hair and light brown eyes and so does Kasper.

I pull up into the library I look at my watch it's 6:54 ok so Kasper'sparty should be starting now. I don't like parties I feel like it's too loud and usually that’s when people make big mistakes and I won't be one of those people ever. I walked into the library the librarian grinned and greeted me

"Hello Jade darling" she said warmly

"Hey Mrs. Howard" I replied

Mrs. Howard and I have known each other for years I come here like almost everyday I’ve read every single novel in here. No lie

"There's a new shipment just came in,” she said looking at me with her square glasses

"Oh really where is it" I asked eagerly

"In a box on your favorite table waiting for you" she said bubiling with excitement

"YAY" I exclaimed skipping to my regular spot

I opened up the box eagerly to find the Twilight series I let out a long sigh, not that I don't like twilight it's just I was hoping for a little something more exciting. Since I read all the other books I just sat in the chair and began to read this novel

I read until my eyes burned I closed the book I just finished chapter 10 in breaking dawn I looked at my watch 1:57 O.M.G I did it again I lost track of time I got up quickly and left the book and ran to the door I shouted

"Bye Mrs. Howard " I said before leaving the library

"Bye Jade" she replied

I hoped in my car and sped down the road I'm so gonna get it, I promised Kasper I’d be home by ten not it's almost 2 Your probably wondering why I’m staying at the library so late well it's because Mrs. Howard knows I don't like being home when there's Kaspers party so she lets me stay there, since she kinda lives in the back room

When I reached my house I hurriedly parked my car and ran to the door unlocked it to find a messy house, I then see Kasper, if looks could kill I would be dead.

"Uh.hey Kasper" I said innocently

"Don't hey me, where have you been?" he asked furiously   

"The library" I said causal

"I thought you said the Library closes at 11:00,” he said questionably steam seeming to come from his eyes

'It does it's just that Ms. Howard lets me stay a little longer" I said

'I think you left the libaray and went somewhere else" Kasper said seeming more worried than angry

"well your thinking wrong because i've been nowhere but the libary" I said

Kasper looked me in my eyes hard trying to see if I was lying or not after about 2 minutes his expression changed from angry to understanding.

"Ok, I believe you, i just was worried about my little sister" he said

"But are you going to help me clean up" he asked pleadingly

"Sure" I said

Then we got to work cleaning around all the passed out people. I had to clean up Vomit twice that was disgusting. There was drunk or passed out people everywhere some were in the bathroom in the storage room, on the couch even in some of them in some of the rooms. But however me my parents and Kasper's rooms are off limits we have a pad lock on our rooms. It was 4:00 when the house was clean other than the passed out people.

I unlocked my door and walked in I instantly felt cold I then spotted the window open. Wait I didn't open it I went to open it then I saw a blur a figure pass by me and out the window. It felt kinda warm after the figure passed. My heart suddenly started beating faster I felt like I would die. I had to sit on my bed for 5 minutes until by heart slowed down. I tried to think of logical reasons of what that figure was. Then I came up with a solution I was Crazy, I've spent too much time reading about Vampires and Werewolves I’m paranoid now, that seem to convince my brain. I shut the window changed my clothes and went to sleep. But for some strange reason I still felt cold again.
