((Y/N)'s POV)

It's been 5 days since I got here with my dad and so far everything was going good...-ish. The rules are strictly enforced, this goes for women 'and' men and the reason they keep an eye on us men too is if we hold a grudge and do something stupid and some guys were like that. I saw 4 guys get arrested for trying to fight a woman or talk down to her and some guys won't even be in the same room as a woman anymore, either out of 'bad memories' or 'anger'. I just preferred to keep my distance as much as I could because I was still recovering mentally. I stay in our new home a lot, but sometimes I go out to get something to play at an arcade since I don't have a console at home and Tina still has it with her. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door and I had a good idea of who it was since it happens a lot around here.

(Y/N)-Who is it?

???-A soldier, I need to do a quick check inside this home.

I went to open the door and he helped himself in and started his check.

Soldier-Just you?

(Y/N)-My dad is out right now, but for now, it's just me.

Soldier-Any complaints?

(Y/N)-No.

Soldier-Alright just let me check the rooms and I'll leave.

He walked around the house and they do this to see if we're hiding someone that got arrested, weapons, extra rations that might be stolen, etc. After he was done he left and so did I since I felt like going down to the arcade and it was only a few blocks away. Just a normal day here in this base camp or whatever you wanna call it, helicopters and planes in the air, military trucks driving down the streets, and soldiers around every street corner. There was no such thing as quiet when you're outside because you hear all those helicopters and planes in the air all the time, but suddenly something weird happened... flower petals started to fall from the sky.

(Y/N)-What the?

I looked up and saw the plane they were coming from and I recognized these petals.

I started to panic and looked around to see women start to breath heavy because this smell was actually kinda strong, but now the soldier fired their guns in the air.

Soldier-Everyone on the ground now!

I was pinned down by a soldier and cuffed, but then I saw some girl soldier go crazy and tackle a man soldier and knocked her rifle out of his hands before she tried to cuff him. More and more girls rather if they were soldiers or not, started to go wild or were still breathing heavily. The woman soldier stood on top of the guy she just cuffed now and pulled off her helmet and I recognized 'her'.

That psycho from the video I saw on how their laws were was here and now some girls started to tackle guys and hold them down so I got up as fast as I could when the soldier got off me then ran with my hands cuffed behind my back. I ran into an alleyway and since I couldn't use my hands I couldn't get in the buildings to hide so all I could do is run and hopefully they were getting helicopters or planes ready to get out of here.

(Y/N)'s mind-If Clare's here and she's a leader of some kind she didn't come alone.

More planes were flying over as the petals continued to fall over us and I could hear all hell breaking loose. Gunshots were in all directions as well as screams that were both men and women and so I just tried to hide between trash cans and as the battle went on I was trying to think of a way out of here. The helicopters and planes were on the other side of the base camp and if I make it and that's a really big 'if' I still won't be out of the woods. They came here and raised hell in a matter of moments and they did it from the inside out all thanks to that damn flower so...

(Y/N)'s mind-Is there anywhere that's safe?

I shook that thought since I can't think like that right now and I got up and started to move to try and escape from this place. I peeked out of the alleyway and saw some dead bodies, but some soldiers were being dragged away by women and some of them were the soldiers that worked here. I was spotted by a certain woman and she gave me a teeth-grinning smile.

I made a run for it and she gave chase for me back down the alleyway and I kept on making turns having no idea where to go. As I kept running I still couldn't use my arms to open doors so it was gonna be really hard to shake her and avoid other girls.

Clare-Where do you think you're going?!

I turned down another alley, but this 1 was was between 2 stores so I had to open a door to go on, but I won't be able to do that fast enough and when I tried to turn back she was standing there ready to capture me.

(Y/N)-I know who you are... You're Clare Heim.

Clare-I'm flattered. How do you know me?

(Y/N)-That video where you explained the so-called 'new world'.

Clare-*Sigh* What a pity and here I thought you knew me by my 'actual' work.

(Y/N)-What are you talking about?

Clare-You think these plans just make themselves? I conquer and invade to expand for our leader, 'Rachel Ocher'.

I never heard of her, but if she really is in charge of this new world then I'm most likely looking at a general or something.

Clare-Enough chit chat, you're coming with me and if you're on a waiting list I might even bring you back personally.

(Y/N-What, you don't me?

Clare-Sorry, but my heart belongs to someone else.

She started to walk to me and I tried to juke her, but she was fast and swept the ground with her leg and tipped me before chuckling to herself a bit.

Clare-Well I like that in a man, you don't simply quit. I might even invite you and the girl that might own you to the celebratory party for capturing this base. I might even have a chat with your girl. ~

(Y/N)-And if I don't have 1?

Clare-Please, you saw my video so you have a girl waiting for you. I'm sure she'll be thrilled to have you back home. It'll also give people a nice show if I drag you to her doorstep kicking a screaming. ~

(Y/N)-Fuck you.

Clare-Not interested.

She kicked me in my side and it actually hurt then she pulled me up and started to walk off with me. Later we made it to helicopters and some men were being loaded on in handcuffs or some other kind of restraint. When the helicopter was full they closed the door and we took off. I had no idea where my dad was, but I had no idea where or how to find him now. I was heading back to 'those 3' and there was nothing I can do about now and Clare was just smirking at me knowing that she won... and I knew it too.
