You wake up in the morning after having a very realistic dream. The tears fall on your cheeks at the life you wanted with the one you lost.
As you're getting ready to start the day your mother burst in your room to yell and scream at you about being a "failure" and being "useless."
You head out to school. Your friends are at the table you all usually sit at. Your best friend is crying about her boyfriend dumping her and saying nobody understands over and over. The whole time you're telling them it'll be okay but in your head you're screaming "please just shut up!! I fucking know already stop rubbing this shit in my face!!"
In class you draw a picture of what you wish you looked like. Depression swipes over you and you begin to draw dark pictures of your character dying or hurting. A kid looks over your desk and laughs at you making fun of your picture for how "emo" it looks. Feeling bad you look at the drawing and throw it away.
You've become a mess of emotions inside. It's now recess and your friends are all laughing and joking. You sit there faking laughs to mask your true emotions from coming out.
Some time goes by and you go home. Your parents are at work and your older sister is out with her boyfriend at a bar like usual.
You run into your room and shut the door. Right as you do so you finally let out the emotions. You fall on the ground on your knees and cover your face as you crouch over. Hating the sound of your voice you angrily turn on your favorite most depressing and violent music. In a mess of tears and rage you start to beat on and throw things around the room. You silently scream out until your jaws hurt.
Four hours pass. You're laying on your bed the blade in your hands and the blood leaking onto the floor. You're considering taking the "final" cut to your wrist.
Suddenly you hear the front door open and your parents followed by your sister comes running in. You sit up in a rush as they suddenly hug onto you crying and saying so many comforting words.
Apparently a teacher found the drawing you threw that missed the trash can. In concern they spoke to the office. One of your friends over hear this and make a post to all your other friends. A huge explosion of confusion and worry take place. Your parents get a call soon after from the office and your sister finds the post online. They were all so scared and cared so much for you...
Please don't give up.
There are people out there who truly do care.
Keep holding onto your hopes.
