"robert, what is happening?!" catherine along with her daughter backed away from the count who was looking at them menacingly, smiling as his sharp fangs shined in the red moonlight.

renfield knew what the count was about to do, and he wouldn't let the evil bitch touch his family.

"NO!" renfield lunged at dracula from behind, ready to pounce on him but was frozen in the air as dracula raised his hand.

the count chuckled as he turned his back.

"watch." he spat out.

the following scene was one of the most gruesome, gut-wrenching, and heartbreaking scenes renfield has seen.

his family, being torn apart and feasted by his master.

and he felt powerless.

even with the power dracula has granted him, he couldn't save his own family.

all he could do was watch in horror as dracula laughed in glee, the two bodies dropping to the floor.

renfield was suddenly let go from suspension, him immediately running to his family's corpse as he started to cry.

"this, this is what traitors get for betraying their master." dracula put his hand on renfields shoulder, smilig with blood all over his fangs, mouth, and face.

shaking in anger, all he could do was stare at dracula with fear and fury in his blue eyes.

renfield shook himself out of his past, suddenly finding himself sitting inside mulates, a bar in downtown new orleans.

what the fuck? , he thought.

he looked at his table to see several documents and books scattered with a few notes, one including how to defend yourself against a narcissist.

he looked around, dracula's voice in his head ringing as he saw many people who were quite similar to dracula's ideal meal.

his head started to spin.

i want unsuspecting tourists, a busload of cheerleaders, and a group of nuns, anything... as long as they are innocent humans!

"shut up" renfield mumbled, fed up of the voice that continued to haunt him.

he concentrated so hard, trying to drown out dracula's voice that he didn't notice a group of men entering the bar, apparently targetting a female cop peacefully sipping her drink.

he closed his eyes, still trying to drown out the voice until gunshots were fired, and everyone was kneeling on the ground.

screams could be heard, as renfield clumsily dropped the book, also kneeling on the ground as he looked over to the commotion.
