Chapter 3- the awkward morning

Daniel's pov :
I woke up to the smell of waffles and eggs and hearing a commotion in the kitchen wondering what it was I jumped up out of bed and walked down the echoing hall way and peaked around the corner to see a sexy silhouette of beautiful woman
, I got a little closer thinking who else could be in my house other than the person I invited my bestfriend kila ofcourse she always loves to cook,
I walked up to her planning on hugging her from behind but she spun around before I could even think.

Kila's pov:
I turn around to see Daniel looking half awake he seemed pretty out of it I don't know why... well I could think of one reason but I didn't pay attention to it, I couldn't sleep for long this morning so I just woke up and started making breakfast, Daniel has always sucked at cooking last time he tried to cook I almost got food poisoning but I dont really care about any of this. "Good morning how was your night" I said happily he seemed to quickly dart up trying to find an excuse for something if it was for the thing from lastnight it was really none of my business its his house he was on his bed not any of my business but ofcourse im not gonna tell him I know it would completely embarrass him and it would make things awkward and I'm not into that, I'm fine with minding my own damn business my mother always told me to keep to myself...... "what's up with the stuttering" I asked acting confused..... "No reason I'm just a little groggy" he said sounding like he was making a horrible excuse up once again I'm too nosy I'm gonna mind my damn  business.......

Daniel's pov:I looked at Kila with a worried look hoping that she didn't notice or hear anything that happened last night."Hey what do you plan on doing today?"I asked coyly trying to change the subject from the night before."Hmm nothing much we still have to finish the rest of that paper work about the stocks suddenly dropping out of no where" she said sounding exhausted "We?"I asked trying to remind her that I was a higher up so that wasn't in my job description."oh right I forgot but you could be decent and help your understudy pleeaaassee"She pleaded with Me hoping I would say yes but I really don't want anymore work on my day off today damn"finnee"I say exasperated hoping that it isn't too much work."Great!" She said sounding excited as if this was gonna be fun but I'm not gonna lie she's quite cute when she's excited."Hey what's up with your face it's so red like a tomatoe and whats with your scales they've been showing themselves for a while now"She said clearly curious and intrigued by my sudden change in colour and now scaley skin texture,"uhmm nothing it's pretty normal for my species"I say nervously clearly trying to hide my sudden change in appearance.

Kila's pov:"He seems to be really anxious right now am I upsetting him?Maybe I should try an comfort him?"Hey you alright?"I asked quite worried for him I mean I know for an Eradastus
It's quite normal to get a scaley skin texture every once in a while depending on the emotion they're showing but still is he ok ???"Yeah I'm fine just a little...flustered that's all"His reply chimed me out of my occuring thoughts he sounded on the edge about something but by the time of his voice he clearly doesn't want me to know,Damn I should really learn to not be so fricking nosy this is life oh well he's gonna have to deal with me anyways. "Nevermind that seriously are you gonna help me or not that work is so annoying plus that bitch Nyla left all the extra work to me honestly she's not even a superior but she loves to act like she has power ugh"I say this in an exasperated voice one of these days I'm gonna put that bitch in her place,Suddenly I get snapped out of jogging thoughts by Daniel dying of laughter by my statement about Nyla."Honestly kila Nyla isn't that bad but I did warn her last time to keep a low profile with you, she might actually get whats coming to her if I catch her dumping work on the understudies plus you aren't even her assigned worker your mine",Those words coming out of his mouth was a breath of fresh air atleast someone didn't think Nyla was in the right "But you still gotta do that paper work though" Nevermind Daniel's an asshole....

Authors Note:Hello This is Anyssa🤗 I don't know if this is any longer than my previous chapters but hell I'm so fricking tired at this point 😪I've been writing this chapter since yesterday yeah I was little lazy🤧 but still I worked on this during lunch at school Yeah Ik the chapter might be confusing and pitiful🥲And you might be confused on who's talking in different parts of the 2 characters povs but I tried to clear that up I also really am trying to stay motivated to write this it is now 7:53pm where I am not too late but I wanna slam in my damn bed 🤣😅  and also my fucking wifi has been fighting me this whole time almost lost all my progress and now its not letting publish this but I'll deal with that later so for now
