PROGRESS>>>

I slammed the door panting and backed against the door, I had never been chased like that in my life, especially girls

The life of a celebrity is really hard to cope with, I know at least I could sign at least a thousand autographs each time I attend a public event but this is so weird to me

I started thinking of the girl I met in the principal's office
"there was literally no cause for alarm,afterall a lot of girls are dying for my lips, why would she be different, girls like her are rare though, maybe I would apologize to her, yes I would apologize to her,then she would agree"
I thought and grinned, then the door opened and closed behind me,it was my friends, Great and TJ
"hey guys, thanks for having my back with those ladies..."I was about to say but Great interrupted me
"relax progress, we know, we know, your bodyguards aren't here to protect you, well guess what, we are here" He said
I chuckled "thanks again Great "

Then there was silence
"so how was your meeting with the principal?" TJ asked
"was fine though, but I may have screwed up" I said
"what did you do?" Great asked

I explained everything to them

There was silence again, TJ and Great exchanged glances
"wow" TJ said
"what? Is she always rude?"I asked
"no, just that she's just coming out of heartbreak and she's trying to get over it" TJ  said
"rumor has it that she might be a witch" Great said
"great this is serious" TJ said
I stared at them
" I just wanna apologize to her, can you help me with that?" I said.
"tomorrow you have to go through a whole day of clearances,so it has to be Friday" Great said
"and Friday is the day we have to collaborate " I said
"then apologize to her in a special way, we could help"
I hugged them both

"I missed you guys so much"i said
"never thought you would say that" TJ said and we all laughed

I was in a dark realm, it was odd because I remember sleeping in school after the tedious clearances and signings from different teachers
The eeire sounds were totally creepy and I was freaking out
Until I heard a voice

"it is time to begin your journey"
"me? "
"yes,the time has come my child, the moment you find your other half, your true self will be unleashed, now go my child, go"

I woke up immediately
"jeez progress you're a heavy sleeper "TJ said
"me?" I asked
"yes you"
I just stared at him and walked into the bathroom

The hostel was a really nice one, each dorm consisting of three beds and a bathroom with huge mirrors and large bottles of cream

I stared into the mirror and looked at my face,memories of my dream flashed before my eyes
"what does it mean" I stared at the mirror and looked into my eyes
All of a sudden my eyes changed from black to gold
I screamed and fell on the floor
Great and TJ rushed in
"what's going on progress" great asked

"nothing" I panted heavily
"I know this"great said referring to the bathroom" is nothing like yours but please get used to it"

I nodded and stood up

"hey progress,look at victory" great said
I stared at Great
"why that look" he asked
"you should go and talk to her bro" TJ said
I stared at them "fine" I squeezed myself inbetween the crowd(who giggled as I brushed past them) and walked to her
"Hey victory" I said, kind of nervous
"what do you want" she said, frowning
"I'm sorry okay? It wasn't intentional"i said
"go away"she said and walked to the podium

"well that sucks" great said
"what do we do"i sighed
Then the hall became silent

"good morning kings and queens,we the school choir have a special song to minister..."
Victory's voice blared through the speakers
I stared at her
"okay what do I do now" I said as she continued speaking
"How do I know... I'm outta ideas" great said

Then a familiar tune started playing, my favorite song was literally playing, they were going to minister my favorite song

"I can be selfish,
Yea so impatient,
Sometimes I feel,
Like..." victory sang

Then I had an idea
"guys, plan B" I said and smiled

VICTORY>>>
"I'm sorry sir I cannot sing with him"i told the principal this morning
"well it's your choice not mine, whatever your heart finds right to do, then do it"he said and walked away

Now here am I, in front of the whole school singing without progress ,I mean, it was kind of rude for me to tell him to go away but I had to do it

"call it a curse
Or just call me blessed
If you can't handle my worst
You ain't getting my best

Must be how Marilyn Monroe felt, felt, felt, felt..."

I was about to sing then all of a sudden;
"take me, or leave me" it was progress
The whole school applauded like never before
"I'll never be perfect believe me I'm worth it, so take me or leave me... Take me or leave me"

I quickly recovered from the shock and joined progress in the chorus
We were facing each other, I smiled when singing with him
When the song ended,progress made to hug me and I accepted

I felt this tingling sensation between us the moment he said" I'm sorry "
Then everywhere grew dark and we heard a silent hum
"welcome to your destiny, it all starts now"
A voice said
All of a sudden, our hands gleamed and I felt a new wave of energy flowing through my veins, I could see tattoos on my wrist and same was for progress

"phoenix, eagle, your destiny as the protectors of the earth is about to be fulfilled, thereafter you shall move on to the next stage of your life, goodbye and good luck "
The voice said and disappeared
I stared at progress, his tattoos looked fiery and fierce
" this is weird, where are we"progress asked
"I don't know"i said
The area became brighter and we were back in school
The whole school applauded ... It was as if nothing happened
I stared at progress and faked a smile,progress smiled also and held my hand as we waved and walked down the podium

I guess, my life is about to change for good
..............
