The Perditas Arc (An SMG4 fan arc)

Part 3: The Investigation

A few days past and still nothing. We couldn't figure it out, yet again we really didn't have a lead. I was about to fall asleep that night when I experienced a strange nightmare. I was in the castle, but something was off. I saw each of the USBs, including mine, SMG4, SMG2, SMG1, and SMG0. There was one USB, though, that I had never seen before; it was red and without an arrow like mine or SMG4's. A zero was used in place of the arrow. I really don't know how I could explain it.

Then I noticed this dark silhouette. It seemed to open its eyes, which resembled Eldritch Zero's eyes. It said, "Find them all." and before I could say anything I woke up. I didn't know what that meant. Find them all? Then I realized it meant, Find all of the USBs. I woke up Mario and the others and explained to them my nightmare. I could remember it vividly even that morning.

After breakfast, we started looking for the USBs. We chose to first explore this strange cave. You might wonder why. There were reports of a strange glow coming out from it. After entering the cave, it was immediately filled with tear gas. We discovered that we were tied up when we woke up.

                 "Welcome." said a voice.

                 "Who the hell are you!" I yelled.

                 "It's a shame you don't recognize me SMG3." said the voice.

                "Wait a minute!" I said.

When the man emerged from the shadows, I recognized it as Enzo. I asked how he got here, and he explained that he was running from the police when he was randomly teleported here. Enzo stepped back and pulled a lever. We all fell when a trap door was opened by it. We were divided and seated in several compartments (I wonder how Enzo obtained the funding for this).

I got to my feet and started moving through the cavern's extensive corridors. I was searching for a way to exit the cave when eventually found Axol, Desti, and Spudnick. Axol had found this katana called, "The Zero Touch". I immediately thought his weeb brain was going wild with the katana, yet again he is more competent than the idiot Boopkins. Honestly, I sorta wished that I had dropped Boopkins off the building. Anyway, Mario and Luigi were looking for us and we eventually located them. We came to a rope bridge where we saw Enzo.

With his knife in hand, Enzo started to approach us. I instantly decided to take "The Zero Touch" out of Axol's hand and use it to break the rope of the rope bridge, which sent Enzo plummeting into the depths of the cave. We went to Enzo's room, and we found my guardian pod. 

We took the guardian pod back to the castle to examine it. We spent the next few days on a fetch quest to find the remaining USBs. We couldn't find the other guardian pods. I wonder how my guardian pod is still around after crashing it in SMG0's old universe. Anyways, Mario, Spudnick, and I went on a shopping run. It couldn't go wrong right?
