So I can't translate this cause it's a name and I would spoil the surprise for the people who don't know the story. If you know, you know. 😉
Yazhini walked out of her friend's house, worry coursing her veins, for Nandini wasn't there.
She had woken up unusually early today (it had nothing to do with the patrolling guards!) and by complete coincidence (AN: I trust y'all to read this as 'after memorizing the patrol timings'), had met the charming Siva again.
The incident brought a smile to her face, something rare after the temple incident, which had happened around 10 days ago. He was a good friend and support through the hard times.
Along with Nandini, of course.
Comforting her when she cried, talking to her even she showed up in the dead of the night and making that utterly delicious kesari.
It was Yazhini's favourite dessert.
However, when she had gone inside today, inside the kitchen lay a bowl of freshly made wheat halwa, which Yazhini despised. And even Nandini herself wasn't very partial towards.
Who could it have been for?
Laughter reached her ears, from 2 people. One of the voices she could recognize, it was Nandini with no doubt. The other, however, was deeper.
Male
A few seconds later, she could see them, walking side by side with elated expressions on their faces. The sight brought an almost evil grin to her own.
Her best friend and a man. Yazhini was quite sure she knew who the man was.
Ilavarasar Aditha Karikalan.
Witnessing them together made Yazhini want to kick her legs, giggle and squeal. They were so cute, look at their smiles and he can't his eyes off her.
Suddenly Nandini stopped smiling. She had seen Yazhini. The only thought in the lovestruck Vaishnavaite's mind was-
'Perumaale, she's going to tease me so much'
Having noticed his princess's discomfort and the other girl (the one Siva was talking about, he recalled) waiting for Nandini, Aditha decided to leave.
"Princess, I think I should go. Your friend-", he started, to be interrupted by her.
"No, stay"
A smile made its way onto his face, "So reluctant to let me go, princess? Don't worry, I'm really close by-"
His sentenced was halted again, by Nandini slapping his arm, an evident blush on her cheeks.
"No Ilavarase, it's just, I have something for you, and its in the house. If you want, you can wait here and I'll go get it, I'll deal with her later", her words fell like a waterfall, cheeks darkening for each syllable.
But at the words 'something for you', Aditha's interest had piqued, "For me?"
A abashed grin played on her lips, "Yeah"
"Well then I'm coming", he said, starting to walk towards the house. Nandini gaped at the prince and caught up with him.
"You do realize that girl over there is going to tease the living hell out of both of us", she asked, slight panic in her eyes.
He replied with an easy-going grin, "Nandini, I have 2 younger siblings who already know about this. Your friend can't do much damage. Even if she does, I know what to say in reply"
