'Ahh... another day, another meaningless boring lesson in school...
You thought to yourself as you tapped on your notebook, boredly.
"RINGGG"
The school bell rang loudly indicating that it was time to go home.
'Nice timing!' you smirked as you started to pack your things, the teacher spoke a couple of words before leaving the class in a hurry. Probably to a meeting or too head home quickly.
As you packed your items into your bag, voices were heard from a corner of your class.
"OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!! DID YOU SEE THE NEW ANIMATION ON UNDERVERSE, THAT WAS SO COOL ON HOW FRESH-INK WAS INTRODUCED!!"
"I know!!! He's ssooooo hotttttttt"
Mary and Jasmine, the two of your most astonishing students in your class, not only did they both score a prefect score in most of their examinations. Mary is the student council vise-president while Jasmine was the head captain of the volleyball team, thus giving them quite a big popular fan base.
It was best advised not to cross their paths
Picking up your bag, you left the classroom silently.
As you walked down the school halls, you took noticed of the students and the environment around you. To put it simply, it was noting less than a zoo.
Bullies filled the halls, threatening and mocking their victims one last time, most lockers broken or in a state of beyond repaired. Floors and walls were uncleaned, covered in dirt or having damaged cracks or even being violated by the students.
If one couldn't tell, the school holidays were coming and to top it off. The school was shutting down due to poor handling of children and property.
"It was about time that they close anyways" you thought as you opened your half-damaged locker, taking out the items that were in there before heading home to never return to such a school ever again.
There wasn't much in that locker of yours, noting else but a couple of schoolbooks that you never got the chance to read. Picking it up, you frowned. The pages were damaged and ripped, making it unreadable anymore.
"SLAM"
A loud slam was heard beside you. Despite that action someone has made, you were not unfazed by it. Turning your head to your left slightly, you made eye contact with none other than, Jared with their shit-eating grin.
"Hey punk, how'd you like your gift" he spoke smugly as if he had won an award.
"I don't really care" you spoke out calmly, placing the damaged books back in the lockers before giving him a pat on the shoulder.
The last thing you needed was an enemy outside of the school
"I'll see you again, when our paths meet once more" you spoke out kindly, but it sounded like you were trying to be a poet instead which Jared stared at you in confusion by your choice of actions. Taking note of his confusion, you quickly walked off, leaving him without a chance of harming you in any way again.

You have finally returned home, it was dark and empty. It was only you in the house, your father seems to not be home just yet. Heading towards your room, you placed your bag down and looked towards the mirror in your room.
"Ah.. sorry, I didn't really introduced myself now did I?"
Staring straight into the mirror you smiled and give a small bow
"Pleasure to meet you, I'm (Y/N). 17 years old"
