Izumi POV

Eleven years... It has been eleven years since Izuku was diagnosed quirkless. Five years after the diagnosis, Izuku ran away, for good reason too. He ran away because of what I - of what we did to him.

Me, our friends, even our parents, we all treated Izuku like an unwanted object. We beat him, abused him, neglected his needs, and even abandoned him when he needed some form of comfort, all because of that one word: quirkless.

Do I regret ever hurting him in the first place? Damn right I regret everything! Ever since Katsuki persuaded me into downright torturing Izuku, I've hated his guts. I'm not the only one who feels the same. Katsumi and Shoka, twin sisters to Katsuki and Shoto, also hate Katsuki.

Shoto, though, is a different story. He does regret hurting Izuku, but blames himself for the entire thing, and now he refuses to use his fire at all because of how he treated Izuku. In fact, I'd even seen him hurting himself with a knife on his fire side.

Our parents, who had completely forgotten Izuku's existence for most of his life, were now desperate to try and find him. I don't trust them and what they intend though. They might lock him away and 'misplace' the key somewhere impossible to find, if only to be rid of the 'quirkless mistake' without everyone making a big fuss about it. Such a stupid idea of theirs.

Now at the age of 15, I am a first year Hero Course student at UA High, in Class 1A. I would understandably be very excited to attend UA's Hero Course, but I'm not. I miss Izuku, and I wish I could find him, even if it's just to apologize from the very center of my soul, but he's been gone for years and most likely won't ever come back.

Now, enough about me. Today's Heroics lesson is on 'Rescue' at the USJ. Currently, we are loading up on the bus in our Hero outfits, with mine being a design Izuku had come up with before he left and the Todoroki and Bakugo twins having outfits that match with their respective sibling.

With what happened earlier, the UA wall being destroyed and the reporters causing a panic, I have a bad feeling about the lesson today. I just hope that nothing too bad happens and that we all get through today okay.

*Timeskip, during USJ attack, 3rd POV*

The USJ has basically been reduced to a battlefield. Unconscious villains strewn all around, Aizawa and Thirteen have been hurt bad, students have been separated into different zones, and All Might is struggling against a bird headed monster called Nomu.

"This is it, All Might! This is your end!! Maybe before we kill you, though, perhaps we should kill the students in front of you, one by one!" A grayish blue haired man said, his boy covered in hands.

Just as the Nomu was about to approach some students to do exactly what the hand man said, a flaming circle appeared in the air. In the circle, a flaming fox head appeared followed by fox tails spreading from the head, nine tails in total.

Once the design seemingly finished forming, the flaming design rotated until it was perfectly horizontal, lifted itself into the air for a couple seconds, and slammed down into the ground. Once it made contact, a pillar of blue fire shot up for 5 seconds.

When the flames dispersed, there was someone standing there who wasn't there before. It was a man in a white traditional outfit with goldish trim. He has white hair with matching fox ears and nine fox tails that have red patterns on them. On his hip is a red and white katana.

"Who the hell is this NPC?!" The hand man yelled. "Where did you even come from?! Never mind that fool! Nomu, kill the newcomer!!" The Nomu instantly rushed at the nine tailed man, throwing a punch and kicking up a cloud of dust that obscured them.

Everyone watched with baited breath to see the aftermath of the attack, only to let out a collective gasp at what they saw. The man had blocked the Nomu's punch with just one tail and didn't budge at all.

"Is that all you've got, you abomination? Just one tail and you're stopped in your tracks?" The nine tailed man asked. "Well, I had high hopes for this, but now I'll just make this quick."

Before hand man could speak, the fox tailed man grabbed his sheathed katana in a ready stance. "Foxfire Crescent: Rising Flame!!" In a blur of motion, he unsheathed his katana and unleashed a crescent of blue fire that flew forward at and through the Nomu. That, combined with the strike of the katana itself, dealt major damage to the Nomu.

"If you liked that, get ready for some more! Blurring Fox, Burning Strikes!" The fox-eared man vanished, and all that could be seen were slashes in the air that looked to be fire themselves. When the man reappeared, he was crouching and sheathing his katana.

Once the blade was sheathed, the Nomu erupted in fire and sliced Nomu flesh. The monster's remains then burned away into ash in a span of thirty seconds, leaving nothing behind.

"What the f*ck did you do to Nomu!?!" The hand man screeched before rushing at the swordsman with his hand outstretched. The swordsman wasted no time and quickly drew his flaming blade in an upward slice, removing the hand villain's right arm and burning what fell off into embers.

"AAUGH!" The villain screamed out as his arm was sliced off his body and burned away. The mist villain, seeing his young master in serious condition, warped both himself and the now one-armed villain away.

Once the biggest threats were gone, the swordsman sheathed his blade and relaxed his stance some. Any villains that were still conscious, or just woke up, surrendered due to their leader being sent running and their All Might killer destroyed.

When the Pro Heroes finally arrived, they saw a strange fox-eared young man calmly standing in the damaged plaza and roughly seventy villains either knocked out or sitting quietly on the floor, all restrained one way or another. Nezu, the Principal of UA, approached the young man to speak to him.

"When Hizashi told me that something bad was going to happen today, I didn't think much of it because of our security systems. Now I see that he was right, and I'm glad that you came to help us...

...nephew."
