NICK'S POV
As soon as I laid eyes on Kendall, my smile grew wider.
When I abruptly realize something, however, awkwardness envelops the atmosphere. Almost everyone was aware of the tension in the air, especially given Kendall's intense gaze on me.
Fuck, I didn't realize how awkward this actually is until now.
I glanced back at the woman in front of me as she nodded at me with a smile, and gestured for me to go to her. I approached Kendall and gave her a tight embrace. Her arms were firmly draped around my neck as she kissed my cheeks.
"You scammer, I thought you have a show." She chuckles at what I said, then backs up a little while smiling broadly.
"I did. It just finished an hour ago." She told me, softly caressing my cheeks.
My eyes went slightly wide, "And you went straight here?" She then nodded at me, "Oh I'm so honored now."
She chuckles, "Well, I wouldn't miss it for the world." She soothingly caressed my cheeks.
I was getting lost in her eyes when I suddenly realized everyone, "Niko?"
"Oh right. Ken, this is my older sister Nova, and that man right there is her husband Theo." I introduced her.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you. Niko has been talking about you." My sister smiled as they gave each other a slight hug.
"All good things I hope." Kendall chuckled as they both pulled away.
"More than good, actually." Nova gave her a tight smile.
They chat for a bit before Bella and the others joined in. They all hug and greeted each other, I introduce her to some people before I finally pulled her with me for her to meet Ari.
"Come, I'd like you to meet someone."
I gently pulled her with me as we walked towards Ariana who was laughing Bella and the others.
I took a deep breath, "Uh... Ari, this is Kendall. Kendall, this is Ariana." I gave them a very enthusiastic, tense smile as they exchanged a fleeting embrace.
"It's so nice to meet you. You look stunning by the way." Ari complimented with her signature smile.
"Nothing compared to you. You're literally a goddess." Kendall lets out a soft chuckle. When my attention was drawn to Abel and Timothee, who were pursing their lips trying to contain a laugh.
"Oh come on you're literally the supermodel." Ariana quickly complimented back, "I heard you just finished a show. Was it the 'Givenchy' one?"
"Yeah. People said you were suppose to be there, but canceled the last minute."
