"Your daughter was just found dead, and you seem to not care!" Princess Athena exclaimed.
Athena's parents looked uneasy. It was true that the heir to the throne, Princess Violet, was just found deceased. It was also true that King Henry and Queen Francesca had been doing nothing to find the assassin.
"Well? Have you nothing to say?" The princess's tone was sharp, as she glared at her parents.
"My dear," Queen Francesca tried. "I know this must be hard for you, but-"
"She was my SISTER. And she was your DAUGHTER. Why don't you care about this?" Athena was on the verge of tears.
The king stepped in; his tone remorseful. "Please, Athena. We are as upset as you are. Her death was unexpected, but there is nothing you can do."
"Another words," Athena seethed. "You don't care about her!" She spun on her heel and left the throne room.
Her parents were a problem that could be solved another day, right now Athena had to focus on trying to find her sister's murderer and she couldn't do it alone.
