"George, no, no- ugh." Dream grumbled, still feeling half asleep.
For the third time since they got back to Florida after their extended stay in California for TwitchCon, George had somehow managed to sleepwalk into Dream's room.
"There's going to be in time for us to go." George babbled nonsense, continuing to walk aimlessly around Dream's room.
Dream rolled over in his bed, groaning loudly into his pillow, the sound barely carrying past its Poly-fil stuffing. He didn't even want to check the time, knowing that it was going to be an ungodly hour.
They all needed to be up and out of the house by 10am, which is a reasonable time for most people. For the dream team though, a 10am departure when they're all used to going to bed at 7am is hell. It was a miracle that Dream was even able to fall asleep around 3am.
"Alright, George. Time to go back to bed." Dream sighed, prying himself away from the comfort of his bed. As to be expected, George ignored him, continued to mumble incoherent sentences, and sifted through Dream's drawers and shelves.
Dream had put it together that George was significantly more likely to sleepwalk if he was stressed about something. Considering tomorrow was their first ever filmed interview with only the three of them, it made sense he was like this.
That being said, just because it made sense, didn't make it any less annoying for Dream.
As Dream stood behind George, pushing him by the back of his shoulders towards his bedroom door, Dream wondered why he was the one stuck doing this. Sapnap and George's bedrooms literally shared a wall, meanwhile Dream's room was on the other side of the house. Why couldn't George give him a break and wander into Sapnap's room for once?
"Dream- we can't! They need to do the way by-"
"Yeah, yeah. Tell me when you're awake." Dream interrupted, ushering George back in the direction of his room. George continued attempting to turn around and face Dream, ignoring his dismissal.
Dream was fairly certain that he was sleepwalking as well at that point, barely able to keep his eyes open, as he led George back to his room.
He didn't even realize his hand had fallen from George's shoulder to his lower back until George turned around fully, reaching out to hold the hand Dream had against the side of his waist. Before Dream could even process that they had stopped walking, George reached out and rested his other hand on Dream's chest.
"Dream?" George questioned, snapping Dream out of his near sleep. Dream blinked a few times, his eyes adjusting to their dark surroundings. They were nearly to George's room, only one more hallway to go down.
"God, George. Just go to bed." Dream sighed, pulling his hand away from George and taking a step back, causing George's hand to slide away from his chest. Dream rubbed his forehead before he looked back over to George when he didn't leave.
"What's... uh, what time is it?" George asked, looking around with his brows furrowed, rubbing one of his eyes. George retreated the hand that was previously resting on Dream's chest, hesitantly holding it halfway across the distance between them, like he was debating whether or not to reach back out.
"Beats me." Dream answered with a yawn, looking back to the direction of his own room now that George was awake enough to navigate himself to bed.
"Did I-"
"Yes. You were sleepwalking in my room- again." Dream interrupted with a tone more sour than he intended. Dream didn't even bother to glance in George's direction, knowing he was probably just as shocked by his tone. He decided to just turn around and head back to his room, not wanting to accidentally say anything else rude.
