Sonic the Hedgehog was having a normal day, running and exploring Mobius, when everything started to shift around him. He felt a strange pull, like he was being sucked into something, and suddenly found himself standing in a completely unfamiliar landscape."Whoa, what the heck just happened?" Sonic muttered to himself, looking around at the strange surroundings.As he began to explore this new world, Sonic felt a tingle in the back of his mind. It was the feeling he got when something important was about to happen, like the universe was trying to tell him something."Hey, Sonic, you feel that too?" Tails' voice suddenly came through Sonic's earpiece. "There's some kind of energy shift happening, I think you better check it out.""Roger that, Tails," Sonic replied, picking up his pace. "I'm on my way."Before he could figure out what the energy shift meant, a loud rumbling noise behind him made Sonic spin around. The noise only grew louder as the ground began to shake, and Sonic realized with a start that a portal was opening up before him."Whoa, this can't be good," Sonic muttered, getting into a fighting stance. "Stay alert, Tails."Without thinking, Sonic raced towards the portal, ready to take on whatever was on the other side. As he stepped through, he felt a sudden rush of air and energy, and was transported to a completely new dimension."What? Where am I now?" Sonic looked around at the dark, abandoned city."Whoa, Sonic, are you okay?" Tails' voice crackled through the earpiece."I'm fine, Tails. Just another day in the life of Sonic," Sonic replied, trying to sound confident. "I'm gonna find a way out of here and get back home."But just as he was about to turn around and head back through the portal, Sonic heard a noise behind him. It was the same rumbling noise he had heard before, and when he turned to look, he saw that the portal was opening up once again."Oh no, not again!" Sonic exclaimed, racing towards the portal as fast as he could. "Time to go adventuring!"As Sonic emerged from the portal, he found himself face to face with a monstrous creature that looked like a combination of a dragon and a scorpion. It was at least ten times Sonic's size, and had eyes that glowed bright red."Well, well, well," the creature hissed. "What do we have here?"Sonic narrowed his eyes, taking in the creature's appearance. "You must be the welcoming party," he said, smirking. "Hope you're ready to get your butt kicked, because Sonic is in the house!"
