I'm Back

◆•Hyunjin's Pov•◆

It has been five years,five years of torture, since Felix and I broke up. I want to say that it was a peaceful break up where we just went our separate ways, but it wasn't. It wasn't a pretty scene but it also wasn't my fault.

If I could rewind time, I would make things right, I would try harder to keep that sunshine. He was my source of happiness since the day that he walked out of my life is when everything seemed dull and gray.

I work as a dance instructor now as that has always been my dream to be one,but for a well known company is even better. One thing I wish I could know is if Felix is okay, I don't know where he is working or anything anymore.

The day that Felix slammed that door and walked out is the day that he disappeared without a word.

I lay down on the wooden floor panting as the class has finally ended. I have at least 4 classes a day as it slowly ramps up as the day goes on.

I still work on my own choreography but I teach people different dances from different genres to help people. A lot of people have a passion for dance and don't know where to start. I am here to help them. I also still hold onto a promise in the back of my mind that I made to him years ago.

I bring my arm up and to the side before reaching for my water bottle but it's out of reach. I sit up getting off of the floor grabbing the water bottle after shutting the door.

I take off the lid allowing the coldness of the water to sting my throat and bring some energy back to me.

I grab a washrag from the backroom before walking back into the practice room once more. I wipe off the sweat that is dripping down my face before I begin preparing for the next class, mostly warming up.

After a few minutes the students walked in quickly as I greeted them. I begin with 'Mmh' by EXO's Kai just to warm us up.

I slowly break it down for them then piece it all together as most people will grasp it if you break down the foot work,body movement and hand movement separately. I carefully watch them in the mirror as they do every movement noting things to fix.

I notice that some of them have a different style than what the song is as I quickly recognize it. However, the students seem to pick up the moves well but I made them pretty easy. I chose a couple more songs from a few requests and a few highly popular songs since the classes are only an hour long.

I sit down on the floor leaning my back against the red painted wall grabbing my phone from the corner. I hope no one else comes in here for a last minute question or to schedule something. But just my luck, someone walks in as I hear the footsteps come in the room.

The person stays by the door before I silently sigh "Come in" I would almost tell them to fuck off and leave but it is unprofessional. I stand up as the person comes in. My eyes begin to water as all the emotions that have been building up shatters. Felix has returned..

Tears slip down my cheeks as my lip trembles before turning away from him. I break down making the tears fall faster before footsteps come closer to me. Felix's hand touches my shoulder making me calm down a little bit.

I wipe my tears with the back of my hand turning around to face him, something dawned in my mind, what if he doesn't remember me? This would just be strange if he didn't. I hold back the tears hoping that he stays even for one more minute.

After seeing him again after 5 years hits me like a ton of bricks,so many memories flow in my head, the good and bad ones.
