The Journals of Candece Sinclair

December 26th 1779

I have recently received this book as a Christmas present from my father. So I might as well get all of the boring introductory stuff out of the way.

I am Candece Morticia Sinclair, (the first, I might add) and I am a princess to all vampire kind.

I am the daughter of William Vladimir Sinclair and Arachne Eris Sinclair. My father is full vampire while my mother is half elf half vampire.

It would be very tiring to list all of my siblings, so I'll just list the one who has the same mother as I do.

Willow Ramona Sinclair is my sister who is only a year younger than I am, but she's clearly a very weak girl. She hates fighting and while she adores Father, she regularly does things he approves of.

The other siblings are either rebels against my father or ones I do not know much about.

So, there is nothing much else to write in this introductory entry except for the fact that I must speak about Adrian.

Adrian Tepes is one of my ancestors, grandson of Vladimir Tepes, AKA Dracula. Adrian is unlike any other in my family I have other seen, he is described as a beast in the old family books, but to me, all I see is his pain and sadness, the loneliness he feels sitting out in the cemetery all day and night...

I go and see him as often as I can, ever since I mess a child. The rest of my family is either afraid or they do not care about him. I certainly care.

Adrian is quite nice, his physical appearance is deceiving. To be honest, when I first approached him, he was more scared of me than I of him.
