It was early when I woke up. I guess that wasn't a bad thing though, just means I don't have to experience Lily (And Dorcas') yells to wake up.

I silently slid out of bed and into the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror, running my fingers through my
h/c hair.

I sighed, turning on the sink and wetting my toothbrush to brush my teeth. My mind swirled with thoughts.

Okay..tutoring with Remus today..

Remind me again why I agreed to that?

I finished brushing my teeth a short while after, heading back into my dorm. I carefully shut the curtains around my bed to not wake any of my roommates and slipping on my uniform.

I placed all the books I would need into my bag and headed downstairs.

The only people in the common room were Alice Fortescue and Remus Lupin. They where both finishing, what I guessed was, last minute homework. I gave a small wave to Remus before heading out of the common room.

He's a nice guy.

I headed into the great hall. It wasn't very occupied. It had around twenty students from all the houses combined.

I grabbed a piece of toast and sat at a particularly secluded spot on the Gryffindor table. I couldn't decide what I wanted.

I split my toast into four quarters, placing them evenly spaced out on my place.

I put jam on one, lemon curd on another, butter on the third, and marmalade on the fourth. I happily at the pieces one by one.

After finishing, I wiped my face with a napkin and stood up from the table. Putting my leg over the bench awkwardly and stumbling off of it. A bit embarrassing, but no one was watching anyway. Sometimes I was glad that I was the less popular Malfoy. Or that, I just wasn't popular at all.

There was still a good thirty minutes until transfiguration.

It wasn't a far walk to the fifth floor lady's restroom. So that's where I went. I went there a lot. Moaning Murtle never minded me. We where actually friends- or... acquaintances.

I headed into the bathroom. No one ever used it, so it was surprisingly clean. I still murmured a 'Scourgify' on a small area so I could sit down, pulling out my homework. I had finished it the night before, but it was all a little messy.
