Next morning:-

    As usual every newspaper was flooded with their wedding news and on social media people were still talking about them only. Aditya entered in his office while talking on his phone and got surprised for a moment when everyone started congratulating him. He was almost on the verge of asking why
they were doing that but suddenly he remembered and got annoyed. He hurriedly went into his cabin without saying anything to anyone.

      On the other side, Avantika was scrolling through her social media and everywhere it's her and Aditya's pictures were circulating. The way people were going gaga over them and commenting all kind of good things, was making her feel overwhelmed . Soon her mother called her downstairs.

   " Avantika, they are wedding planner and costume designer. Please co-operate with them whatever they want and tell them whatever you want in your wedding. We have very less time, so we can't waste even a single second." Her mother instructed her.

    Avantika nodded her head and did exactly whatever her mother told her. Malini also called her at that moment.

    " Avantika beta, please come home. We need you here. We are planning to shift in our new house before wedding, so come here and give your choices to interior designer if you want to add anything in your room. " Malini told her on phone.

    Now she was in a fix, but she can't say no, so she agreed with her. Aditya came home late night. His mother was waiting for him.

    " Adi, you are going to get married, please give some time there too. Tomorrow we need to go to designer for dresses and then we have to go to select ring also. So, tomorrow you are coming with us and no excuses." His mother told him.

" I am sorry mom, but I can't give you this much time. I will be present for ceremonies on time but don't expect anything more than that from me. You can take measurements from clothes and take my ring size and please don't bother me with all these things." He said and went away.

Malini was shocked to hear his outburst. She got worried but brushed it off thinking he must be still angry because of not telling him about marriage.

Next day:-

     Avantika went to boutique and got to know from Malini that Aditya will not come, and she would have to choose his dresses too according to her choice. She felt little bad but agreed. When her mother told her to go jewellery shop to buy engagement ring, she didn't agree and decided to make her own customised engagement ring and got busy in that.

   Days were passing like that as everyone
was busy in doing preparations. Avantika was little sad as Aditya didn't talk with her even for once after that day.

    Finally came the day when they had to leave for their wedding. It was a luxury resort in Lonavala, fully booked for the wedding. Wedding functions were going to be for whole week starting with engagement and cocktail party, then after 2 days, Sangeet, mehndi, haldi and then wedding. All big media houses were invited to cover the wedding as per the plan and everywhere, everyone was
talking about it only. They had decided to leave for the venue one day before the schedule to get relaxed and see the final arrangements. When Diwans reached Goenka house to leave for lonavala,
Aditya was not with them.

" Where is the groom?" Arundhati asked from Malini.

" He said, he will come directly on function day. I am sorry but I am too pissed at him but it's impossible to change his mind." Malini shared her helplessness.

Avantika felt disappointed and her parents too, but they didn't say anything and left for the venue.
