LAMONTS
As Amelia pulls into the work, she gets out of the vehicle, and Luna sits in the vehicle and watches people walking in. Standing there and waiting for her, she turns around, looks at Luna through the front windshield and raises her hands, and says, "Luna! Are you coming?"
"Yeah! I'm coming!" she says as she fixes her hair in the passenger side mirror and gets out of the vehicle. With them walking into work, Luna looks at the people, smiles, and sees Ivory sitting at the corner table talking to someone.
"Hey Luna," Ivory says as she gets up from the table, and walks up to the counter, while Luna walks behind the counter, and puts on her apron.
"Hey Ivory! What's up? What are you up to?" Luna asks as she grabs an empty glass from the counter.
"I just stopped in for some breakfast. Last night made me hungry," Ivory says as she taps her hands on the counter.
"Well then! What's your interest?"
"The usual. Bacon and eggs," Ivory says as she looks at the decor on the wall
As she puts the ticket on the galley, she walks back to the counter, and Luna stares into the crowd. Instantly, people sneeze and cough in twos, and she watches them with curiosity, and says, "You see that?"
"See what?" Ivory asks as she looks around the room.
"People are sneezing and coughing in twos again. You didn't see or hear that?" Luna says as she looks at Luna.
"Of course, I saw that. Luna, people sneeze and cough in twos all the time," Ivory says as she looks at the cook making her food.
"Not like this. This is different. I'm seeing this a lot lately," Luna says as she wipes the counter with a wet bar rag.
"What are you ladies talking about?" Amelia asks as she walks up to them.
"We're talking about people sneezing and coughing in twos," Luna says as she puts the rag on the back counter.
"You're talking about that again?" Amelia sarcastically says.
"Yes, I am! I'm telling you! People don't sneeze and cough in twos like that," Luna says as she walks to the galley and grabs Ivory plate. As she sets it in front of her, she says to both of them, "I keep seeing weird sh@t."
"Yeah, I've seen it too. But it doesn't mean anything," Amelia says as she looks around the tavern.
"Okay! We will talk about this later. I'll be right back. I'm going out to the vehicle. We forgot to bring the supplies in," Luna says as she walks out from the counter and towards the back door.
"Alright," Amelia says as she wipes the counter down.
"Is this the jackal you were talking about?" Ivory yells to Luna, as she points to it.
"Yes, it is!" Luna yells as she opens the back door.
As she walks outside, she walks to the vehicle, opens the driver-side door, and reaches for the supplies in the back seat, while Kyle pulls into the parking lot. As he pulls up next to Amelia's vehicle, he turns off his vehicle and gets out. Walking up to her, he asks, "How's it going?"
"It's going! What are you doing?" Luna asks as she grabs the supplies from the back seat.
"I stopped by to say hi," he asks as his phone vibrates in his pocket.
"I heard you leaving this morning. Where did you go?" she says as she looks at him and the phone.
"I went over to Salem Harbor and cast a couple of lines. I didn't catch anything though," he says as his phone keeps vibrating in his front pocket.
"Your phone's vibrating. Are you going to answer it?" she says as she looks at his front pocket.
"Nah! I'm sure it's Tim. I'll call him back when I leave," he says as he touches his phone.
Holding the supplies in her arms, she says, "Okay! I'm going back in. This is getting heavy. If that was Tim, tell him hi for me."
"Okay! I will, I'll see you later, I just wanted to say hi. See how you were doing and when your coming home," Kyle says, as he walks away, and gets back in the vehicle.
"I'll be home in a few hours," she says as she walks to the tavern.
As she watches him drive away, she instantly senses Geo's energy. Grabbing her cell phone from her back pocket, she opens his social media page and sees a photoshop picture of her. Shaking her head, she closes the social media, puts her cell phone in her back pocket, and walks inside. Placing the box of supplies on the floor behind the counter, Geo appears in her psychic space, and she watches him while asking Amelia, "Did I miss anything?"
"No! Nothing too interesting," Amelia says as she walks to the supplies and puts them away.
"Kyle stopped by. That was a surprise," she says as she picks up a glass and dries it off.
"What did he want?" Amelia asks as she walks to her.
"The usual. Just wanted to say hi. He was wondering when I was coming home," Luna says, while sweat starts to pour down the middle of her forehead. As she wipes the sweat off, she looks at Amelia and Ivory and says, "What the f#ck!"
"What! What is it?" Amelia asks as she puts her left palm on the counter and her other hand on her hip.
"Geo just took a photoshop picture of me and posted it on social media. And now, I'm breaking out in a crazy sweat," Luna says as she puts the empty glasses on the back counter.
"Oh, for f*ck sake! Why would he do that?" Amelia asks as she turns up the music.
"Who knows why? Beats me! I'm pretty sure he did it to read me! Or maybe he's doing some dark ritual!" Luna says as she watches him dissipate. Pulling her cell phone out from her back pocket, she opens his social media page. Scrolling through his page, she looks at Amelia and Ivory, and says, "He took the photoshop picture of me down!"
"Well! What did you expect?" Amelia yells over the music as she picks up a couple of empty plates from the counter. Putting them on the galley, she says, "He's playing games. You said that he shifted into a jackal. We all know that the jackal is a trickster, and they like to play games."
"Yeah! Okay! Don't remind me," Luna says as she walks towards a customer and takes their order.
With Amelia turning the music back down, she walks around the tavern and talks to the customers, while Luna replays in her head what Geo posted. Within moments, his energy hits her chakra, and his energy pulls her towards the jackal, and she senses that he wants to know what she's doing. Instantly, her energy level is raised, and she senses to look at his social media page.
"What? What is it?" Amelia says as she looks at Luna.
"It's the jackal, or should I say Geo," Luna says, while she hands a plate to a customer. Within moments, he appears in her space, and she watches him. Sensing the pull coming on even stronger, she looks at the jackal and replays what he showed her last night. As she shrugs it off, she walks up to the jackal, touches its teeth, and says, "Amelia, I betcha he shows everyone that face."
"He probably does. After all, he does have the reputation of being a dark witch," Amelia says as she walks to Luna and looks at the jackal.
As she watches him dissipate moments later, her energy level is lowered, and she says, "Yeah! You're right! He does have a reputation for being a dark witch."
