And so it begins

After the lovely morning show in the great hall, Harrison was forced to go back to his table to receive his schedule. He swore he saw Snape's greasy face glare at him with petty loathing as he handed, (note: shoved) it to him. He resisted rolling his eyes at the childish excuse of a man and distracted himself by studying his schedule.

'...Those lucky rats' He glared at his schedule hoping it would burn. Those two practically had the entire week together, while he was stuck with prejudiced and uptight toddlers. He looked up and caught Hadriens eye from where he sat. His twin gave him a sympathetic smile and raised his fist up in silent support.

Harrison sighed and slipped the cursed slip of parchment into his robes. With a quick prayer for his sanity, he stood up and prepared himself to brave the torture that is school.

History was by far the most agonizing two hours Harrison has ever had to sit through. He had to learn some useless prejudiced BS from a ghost who might as well be part of it. He banged his head on the table silently, this was the type of thing that Hannah would love like the nerd she was.

Transfiguration was like a breath of fresh air. The minute he sat down in the class, she threatened them.

"Transfiguration is some of the most complex and dangerous magic you will learn at Hogwarts," she said. "Anyone messing around in my class will leave and not come back. You have been warned."

'Oh yeah, he was going to love this class'.

That proved to be true as he turned a match into a pointed gold needle, on his first try. She'd smiled at him for that. Harrison was definitely going to rub that in his friends' faces. Another subject he was good at was Charms. He had to hand in all of that talent to his previous participation in his school's debate team.

This came into use after his sorting in particular. Some overzealous Slytherins, notably Draco decided to 'set him right'.

They'd entered the Slytherin dorm and settled in their rooms which, just to his bad luck he was roomed with Draco, Blaise, and Theodore. The world was genuinely against him. And as expected, Draco's lovely person decided to start drama.

Naturally, it was off his self-obsession.

"Stay on the other end of the room. I wouldn't want your filthy hands to poison my things" He sneered, as soon as they entered the room.

"I could say the same for you Malfoy, keep your slimy head in your own space, no one wants to deal with your daddy issues." Harrison rolled his eyes.

"What did you say you Bloodtraitor?!"

"Nothing you have to throw a tantrum about princess"

"PRINCESS?! HOW DARE YOU-"

"Yo Zabini, you got any more of those chocolate frogs?"

"hmm? Oh yeah."

"DO NOT IGNORE ME BLACK!!"

"Dude these are great."

"Wait until you try out the flavored beans."

"BLACK!"

Yeah, his Slytherin welcome was weird. Anyway back to the present. Currently, he was on his way to Potions with the friends he somehow made. Blaise and Daphne were the only Slytherins who bothered speaking to him. He guessed it was nice to have some sort of company in his sad excuse of a house.

It was the end of the week, meaning double potions with Gryffindor. Finally, Harrison would finally be able to see his best friend. He was curious as to how this class would commence.
